Hi, I ahve posted this in expecting a baby also because i dont know where to post it. I am a little confused and would appreciate any help!
I'm roughly 6 weeks pregnant with my 1st child. I have done 3 home pregnancy tests and they all came back possitive. My partner and i had intercourse a 2 days ago and when we finished i noticed a little bit of blood, pinky.brownish colour, he also noticed and i said it was normal as i have read posts previous stating that you spot a little in early pregnancy. Now today 30.05.07 im bleeding, not alot, not enough for a tampon and its not red like my normal period would be its a browny red. Im really scared, could i be having a miscarriage. I went to the doctors yesterday to confirm pregnancy and have to find out the results later on today... i just really need to know if anyone else has experianced this as i am very very worried.
Thanks

I had bleeding too and the nurse said it might be implanting bleeding. I have read stories of other people who had the same problem and everything was fine. Someone I know had her period during her whole pregnancy with twins however it is rare for that too happen. I don't want to scare you or be unrealistic but it could be anything. In my case it was an ectopic pregnancy. Most people who have those have very bad cramps and bleed for days so seeing that you didn't mention pain or anything I doubt that's the case with you. I say wait for the test (I know it's hard. I am sure you are fine!

hi i had similiar bleeding through-out my first pregnancy and everything turned out to be normal, it was just that i had a low lying placenta which usually corrects itself further on in pregnancy, if it doesnt then you have to have a caesarian BUT i also had similiar bleeding in a recent pregnancy which unfortunately turned out to be a miscariage. my advice is to get anything your worried about checked out, no matter how small or silly it might seem, its always best to be safe rather than sorry! also its your baby and your the one thats going to be carrying it for 9 months and you have the right to make sure your baby is ok! hope that everything is fine and that you go on to have a perfectly healthy baby. x
