"Grazia magazine recurrent miscarriage " Posted by ludders31 4 July at 10:08
Hi all, I dearly hope not to offend anyone with this request.
Grazia, the intelligent grown-up womens best selling glossy is looking for men to talk to them for an emotional piece on the rollercoaster of recurrent miscarriage. The magazine would like the explore this frustrating, heart-rending situation from the husband or partners perspective. Were looking for men who are experiencing this, still trying with their partner for their first baby and are happy to talk freely and emotionally in the hope it might bring greater understanding to the turmoil men also experience at this testing time.
Were looking for a male who relates to the Grazia readership, so 30s, early 40s, who would consider themselves as doing well in life, being able to provide brilliantly for a baby and the last thing they imagined would be having trouble with an issue like this, but nevertheless, is. It goes without saying it will be handled with sensitivity, so ultimately the feature brings hope and support to other couples. It will include a fact box on miscarriage too, consulting experts and authors in the field on coping with both the practical and psychological elements.
I know the majority of you on this forum are female, so if you think your husbands or partners might be willing to talk with heart Id be really grateful if you could get in touch. Its a very delicate emotional balance between couples who are still trying and those who have succeeded in getting pregnant, and we want to reveal the emotional ups and downs of those still trying from a new perspective.
The interview will involve a photoshoot with a great Grazia photographer. I am looking for stories asap, and would be grateful if anyone interested could email me with a brief description of their situation, husband/partner and a photo, of just him, or you both together and your contact details.
