Hi, had to post cos you guys are keeping me sane thought might as well join in! Am pretty sure I'm having my 3rd m/c as we speak, got positive result a week ago then brown smear on tissue after toilet yesterday and now bleeding like I'm on my period and slight cramps and backache. Doesn't look good, feels like last time.

I know how you feel, I just had my second m/c. my doctor confirmed my pregnancy last tuesday and by friday I was bleeding (like a period) back ache, mild cramps and I just knew what was happening. It took all weekend to get into the early pregnancy unit for a scan and by the time I did on monday there was nothing left to see.

I havent had a successful pregnancy yet so I dont know what it feels like but I think you just know when it isnt going to go right.

I hope this doesnt mean the worst for you, I would get to the doctor and get to the epu asap, at least you know for sure. The nurse at the hospital said that I need to have a third m/c before thay can offer me any tests or medical help so if you are having one hopefully they can refer you and you can start to learn if there is any reason (other than the very bad luck that they always insist on telling you about!)why this is happening to you.

Dont give up hope on this pregnancy until the doctor has confirmed either way. My thoughts are with you and I have my fingers crossed for you too, good luck, if you need to talk any time, I'm right here (off sick at the moment, not ready for work).

so sorry to hear your bad news hun,think you're right you do just know if it doesn't feel right. Dunno if there is an EPU in my area, saw GP on monday and he just told me to rest and wait and see so in limbo again. Dunno whether to try and stay positive or just accept that this one's gone too. Def doesn't feel right, got backache and that dragging feeling you get with a bad period and still bleeding. Doc said do another pg test in a week and see what it says, dunno if I can bear the wait. I haven't had a successful pregnancy yet either so hope they will do some tests if this turns out to be number 3. I'm also off work so here anytime if there's anything I can do.
