Hi I,m new to this message board.
I had a miscarraige in feb at 11wk+ 5d which was devastating.
I am pregnant and had a scan today showing I was 5 weeks pregnant. the scan showed sac and something going on but too early to see much more, I have to go back in two weeks.
I felt slight pain right abdo driving to appointment then after scan went to toilet and some red blood which has turned reddy brown. midwife said it probably implantation bleeding.
I am so worried that it may be happening again.

I've had two miscarrriages, one last year and the other a week and a half ago so I know how devastating it is and having had a miscarriage earlier this year you are bound to be on edge.

Bleeding is so common in pregnancy it's almost normal, especially after a scan (I assume it was internal). There are lots of adjustments being made by your body to accommodate your baby so, although it's hard, try not to worry. When I spoke to my doctor he advised me that the only time you really need to worry is if you start bleeding heavily, or if you are passing clots. Also if you are experienceing pain which is more than just annoying.

Keep an eye on it, you will know in your heart if something is wrong and if it still bothers you go to your doctor, remember it's your baby and you can never be too careful.

I'm sure everything will be fine. Hope this helps. Lots of luck.

Sarah. x
