phew. found out i am pregnant 2 days ago. feel so messed up. there is no way i can go through with it as became pregnant just before boyfriend dumped me. he doesnt want to be with me and has all these plans for the future that dont involve me. i am not ready to be a mum.so totally heartbroken and dont want to tell him and feel like i have to go through this alone. dont feel like i can tell my family as parents want grandchildren and my sister had a baby 9 months ago and loves being a mum. i just need some support of others who have been though it.
had an appointment with GP today and being referred to the hospital. i am only 3 weeks so will prob take the pills. what is this like? really painful? how long will i need to take off work? how long til you feel normal again? my hormones are all over the place. i am so scared.also have really important interview in 2 weeks that i have to be on form for. just feel like i cant cope.
been reading some of the other posts and seems like people have quite strong opinions, please dont judge me. be kind.
thanks Mx

You're decision is the right one. If you thought this through and this is what feels right, then it's right. Don't let anyone let you think otherwise.
I know you said you don't want to tell him, and believe me I understand that. I didn't tell the guy either...at first. But then a year later, I was guilt ridden and told him. Should you tell him now? That's up to you. But I really think at some point you should...honestly.
More importantly though, is your family. I know you just want to do it alone and not tell a soul. I did that. It was awful. I wanted to be alone and that's what I was. This is not a time for you to be alone without the love and support of those who love you most if you can just tell them. In the end my sister and dad found out, and it was such a relief. My sister confided that she had also had an abortion, my dad was totally supportive. If anything, if you're close to your sister...tell her. This burden lays heavy on your heart and you need someone to help you.
I didn't take the pills, I went to a clinic and was put under. It seemed better for me that way. So I'm not sure what they're like. I would take 2-4 days off work at the least. If you can afford more you may want to. How long until you feel normal again? Oh hun, normal...it takes time. It really does. I wish I could say that the next day everything was perfect again. The world will look different, and you will be different. Not that it's a bad thing.
Don't let anyone make you feel badly. You know yourself better than anyone. Go with your heart love.

Hi,
I really feel for you, it must be such a hard time for you, esp with your breakup of your relationship as well.
I had a abortion four years ago, and i'm not going to lie it was a very emotional time for me as i always really wanted children, but knew that i wasn't in the right frame of mind to properly care for that child. I got pg on the depo (injection pill), but was stupid as i was also on anti biotics, so the contraception didn't work.
You just have to do what you feel completely right for you, don't get swayed by anyone else, at the end of the day its your body and you are one that has to deal with it. I don't regret my decision, but i spent lots of time thinking everything through.I can't give any advice on the pills, but i went to a private clinic for half a day and was put out whilst they done it. There was no pain, it was just after that i had some bad period style cramps (but not everyone has them). Luckily i had my boyfriend with me....is there a really good friend you could confide in and go with you?
Good luck, and please email me if you need to talk/or sound off
xxxxx
