I am booked into have my consultation next Friday, but unsure of the procedures, how long will I have to wait for the actual procedure to be done? I would appreciate someones insight into this and please I am sure about what I want to do and so would appreciate no comments being sent my way as by the looks some can be harsh, truthful, yet very upsetting in stating their facts. Many thanks

hi there i two had an abortion when i went they scannd me to see how far i was then they talked about the options, i decided to take the tablet form because i felt it would be easier. so i went back three days later and took a tablet in there then after about 10 mins i went home.that tablet stops the heart beat ,then the next day i went back and took another 2,i waited again for ten mins then went home. you cant drive your self someone must do that or get a taxi as the bleeding can start fast. i started bleeding withgin an hour and it was like a bad period ,my bleeding last for a few weeks,i was married when i did this.i did this because i got told that if i fell pregnant it would kill me and the baby and i allready have 2 kids.my husband had the snip but i caught pregnant just before ,you think about it alot, but time is agreat healer i always think what would it of looked like girl or boy but its normal after it was done i cryed alot but itold the fetus that i was sorry and that ilove you very much and that i think about you. and i know that sounds stupid but it helpd me.good luck

I also went thoguh Bpas/NHS but had the Op. I went to Richmond becuase it was the closet but they have them all over the country .. might be a little way to travel though.
They booked me in for the following week and I was in an out in 1 day.
I too said my own goodbyes to what could have been my baby and for some reason cried everytime I heard Madonna, Papa don't preach (sounds ridiculous now). Do what ever makes you feel like you can close the door and move on.
p.s. They really do look after you, as grim as it sounds it can also be quite peaceful. Just make sure you take something to read or listen to.
