Hi, have made up my mind now, just wondered how long it takes from seeing doctor to having the termination? Have my doctor appointment on wed to tell him my decision. Thanks to all who reply.

It depends where abouts you live. The nearest to me was Brighton. The consulation apointment was booked for a week later and the termination about 5 days after that.

I went to see my doctor last Monday and booked the appointment and scan which is tomorrow morning (8 day wait)

Sometimes there may be a cancellation and they can fit you in sooner. In some areas I have spoken to girls who have waited around 3 weeks just for the first appointment. If time is a factor for you it may be worth asking it you can go to a different clinic if you are willing to travel.

i saw my doctor then had to wait 2 and a half week but that was only because it was Christmas. then when i went to the hospital it was six days later and everything went fine xx
