Hormones after abortion

i had my abortion in january, but i read that because you stopped the pregnancy early and the body didnt reject it then you still get the same hormones as if you were still pregnant. i didnt think this was true at first alough i was still moddy some times. but would have been due next month and now i feel really hormonal. every pregnant mother i see, i just want to be pregnant to. i feel envy from them. im still getting the mood swings and seems to be getting worse. i am having contraception needles so i dont become pregnant as i dont want any more. (i have 3) but i cant shake these feelings. has anyone else had this or can you advise? thanks x

A small piece of help

I am sure it is natural to feel emotionally unstable for a while after. My abortion was around 3 months ago, and there are days where I just want to sleep a lot and stay in bed.
I spoke to counsellor a bit afterwards and they said you technically go through a mourning period of your life afterwards. This maybe what you are suffering.
