Hey, I agree with haylezxx. It may be too early for a pregnancy test to detect the hormones associated with being pregnant. Wait until you are closer to your cycle date. If its late... buy a test. If you really don't want to become pregnant, you may want to buy stronger condoms or consult your healthcare professional about different birth control techniques.

hello, hope someone can help me. i have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half now but we only recently started having sex.i couldn't believe it when the condom split i didn't think to get the morning after pill and its still 2 weeks until my period is due.i feel lost, my boyfriend is very supportive but only knows as much as me.i have been sleeping for most of the day, fainting and feeling/being sick and eating very little (i'm usually always eating lots). i'm worried becuase i'm not ready to have a child. is it worth getting a pregnancy test now? do i have to be careful to avoid drinking any alcohol? thank you for reading, i'd appreciate any advice

hey,
First of all try not to panic. How long ago did this happen? If it was just a few days ago, i don't think you would feel these symptoms so early. I know this sounds like a silly question, but could you not just be coming down or have a bug? It is possible from the symptoms you describe!
I know its hard not to worry but try to relax you may not be pregnant as of yet. With regards to buying a pregnancy test now, you could always try. I did the same thing and bought a test 2 weeks before my period and it was negative and when my period didn't arrive did another and now here i am 15 weeks pregnant! I think it depends on how far along you are as sometimes it cannot be detected until after your missed period or later!
My advice is to wait a while to do a test. To rule out a bug/ virus i would at least wait a few days to see if it clears up on its own.Just because you experience symptoms associated with pregnancy does not necessarily mean you are pregnant.
I hope this help.Let me know how it goes. And as difficult as it is try not to panic!
love haylezxx
