Hi, i have tried the pu erh tea i found that if you dont breathe in while you take a sip of the tea it dont really taste of anything, the smell is abit fishy but if you hold your breath you cant smell it, i always put in 1 sweetner to make it taste better, the other thing i did find with this tea is it made me come out in spots all over my body!! so i stopped drinking it. i'm not sure if this definately was the tea but the same happened to my mum but she just got them on her face. has this happened to anyone else?

Hi folks, I see most use oolong or wu long, but which is the best for weight loss and detox. I know Posh uses pu erh but ... looking at her I wouldn't really take that as an endorsement!
I have found cupoftea.co.uk has excellent tea, the best earl grey ever, and they do 100g of oolong for under £4. This is proper tea pot, full leaf tea and tastes like normal tea, not bitter green tea. I have also found pu erh, does well loosen the bowels and make you go more often
SO which is best? pj

I received my order of Pu'erh tea at the weekend and I do not know how POsh does it? it tastes vile! like someone has boiled their jumper and poured the excess water into my cup - can anyone recommend how I can make it taste nicer? should I add sugar maybe? Or accept the fact that this was a waste of money

Hi I think you must have bought some bad tea, did you buy teabags? I have been drinking Pu-erh for over a month now and have gone right off ordinary tea! I buy it in the traditional cake form, you break off a bit, pop it in an infuser, add some water and rinse, then you are ready to go for the day. You use the same set of leaves all day (I drink about 3-4 cups)so although the cake may seem a bit expensive at the start it lasts for ages. I prefer the cooked to the raw and while it did take a little getting used to, it has a natural sweetness and you don't need milk which helps if you are dieting. I have also found that my skin is smoother and clearer but couldn't say for sure that it's down to the Pu-erh! Hope this helps
