Finger nails splitting

My finger nails keep splitting on the tips horizontally, which is making them very thin and weak near the ends.

Is this a difficency???

Any advice much appreciated!

Not to sure, I used to get cracks all the time but started using Burts bees cuticle and nail creme.
It can be expensive but try Spirit Beauty and Cosmetics on ebay - around £4.
