"Help, i want to choose a new perfume"
Posted by jocnrd1 21 January  at  23:13

hello everyone,
i am desperately trying to find a new perfume, but don't know which one to choose.
i really would love to have a perfume that people do remember. The perfume of a femme fatale basically. i like very strong perfumes, but i really don't want to wear one that is popular. as i like the idea of being unique, i want to find a perfume that not is quite unknowed and that just a few people wear.
Do you know such a perfume???
thanks for your help
Jo

i like calvin klein. ck1. it is a really nice smell, and others seem to smell it a mile off. i love it. another one i like is jean paul gaultier, its in a bottle shaped of a woman. it is gorgeous.there is so many to choose from nowadays though, and we all suit different ones. good luck

My all-time favourite evening perfume is Stella by Stella McCartney. It is quite heavy, and stronger than the perfumes I usually wear day to day, I think its too much for daytime wear but I love wearing it for nights out! Its not a scent many people know about, so you will rarely find anyone else smelling the same!

"My new favourite"

I love Insolence by Guerlain. Also, all Chanel perfumes (my favourites are Coco Mademoiselle and Chance) get my vote!
"Dior addict"

Hi Jo,

You absolutely must try Christian Dior addict. It's one of the nicest perfumes I've tried for a while and it really lasts. I often wake up after a night out and can smell it on my pillow!

I would also agree with people that jean paul gaultier is very nice-also lasts.

My staple though is chanel chance. Absolute fave, you cant knock chanel.

Good luck!

I've got a few good one's for you and trust me not alot of people know of them as you can't buy them everywhere. The first one is called Flowerbomb by Vicktor & Rolf you can only get this at Selfridges or Harrods a big bottle is around £50 so not badly priced.
It smells devine!!!
There are two others i use by Philosophy (buy from John Lewis, i also get from e-bay) the first is called Falling in Love which is my fav!! and also Baby Grace these are such soft feminine scents.
I've tried all the normal Amarni,Gucci,Ralph Lauren etc... but since having these i'll never use anything else.

Hope you find what you like

"My perfume"
Posted by frenchbab 27 January  at  22:20

Hello,

I hope you will understand all my message. I'm french and my english is not perfect)
It's difficult to choose a perfume.
It takes me 10 years to find one perfume that correspond me. I try a lot of them but since 3 years I wear "hypnotic poison" by Christian Dior. People tell me that it smells good but nobody around me wear it because this perfume doesn't look like them. It's a particular scent, both strong and sweet...

Keep me to date if you try it ...
Bye !

Well that's a difficult question baecause it all depends on what kind of notes you prefer.
Wearing a perfume is like a second skin so be careful when you choose yours. I have "very irresistible" from Givenchy. I love the smell, and it's not too strong because i don't want to be smelt 2 miles around if you know what i mean.
Anyway to get the femme fatale effect, you should try one from the Chanel range like "Allure" or "N.5".They'd work great!!
