Funky hair style?

Hiya, I have fairly straight, long hair with a slanty side fringe and i'm wanting to get it cut.. something cute, choppy and funky...something that looks good even if its messy. Any suggestions? pictures maybe? Thanks alot for any help!

I was in the same situation as you are in about a month ago. I went to a salon and told the hairstylist pretty much what you just said and she did an awesome job. She put short layers on top to make my hair lift more and i could also push them forward to give myself thick bangs. Then she left all of the under layer longer so I could still put my hair up for work. To my bangs, which are just one thinner layer, she grabbed a section and twisted it around and razored the end on the twist and it made my bangs all different layers. This hairstyle is really fun.

Haircut

Don't cut your fringe, but try to make all your hair of different layers. Don't cut it too short you'll be sorry of it later. Simply layers. It looks interesting, you need not to style it, and it looks great in any weather.
