Does anyone know anything about this? (ultrashape)

I found a few pages on ultrashape but the one below was the only one with before and after pictures. Does anyone have any experience with this treatment?

Does anyone know anything about ultrasound

Well. I have some I had treatment on the Exhibition with Twister. I lost 3cm in 30 minutes!!! I know the company Reve Aesthetics is suppling great machines - best on the market at the moment - Proslimelt (you can find in Clinics in London) and Twister which you can find in Salons in all UK. YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN SOMETHING LIKE THAT! IT IS WORKING!! You want to know how is working go to:

Ultrashape - poland

Hi I've been in Warsaw on business trip and did ultrashape treatments. I'm very happy - lost 3 cm and paid really less than in UK. Have a look www.ksztaltosfera.pl. I called them and asked all questions.

Ultrashape

There's an other page I've found with before and after pictures. The procedure is called Ultrash ape.

I've had ultrashape

Hi Meegs,

I just finished getting ultrashape from this clinic in Toronto. http://www.tcclinic.com/ultrashapetoronto.php

It really did work for me. I lost over 4 inches off my waist so far. I'm also starting an exercise program next week so let's hope it all pays off in the end. My experience was painless and I couldn't be happier to tell you the truth! Good luck.

I've had ultrashape and it does work.

I had 3 ultrashape treatments and one "half treatment". One treatment was on my outer thighs and the "half treatment was to get rid of a pesky bulge on one thigh that hadn't gone completely, and then there were two treatments on my stomach. I was very surprised and really happy with the results. Before I did Ultrashape I was approached asked if I'd like to do some treatments and then write about them. Well, since I'd been researching "how to lose weight, inches and ultrasound for cellulite" had found Ultrashape but was put off by the price, I jumped at the chance. Quickly. At the time I didn't want to spend what is quite a lot of money on a treatment I didn't know much about or that couldn't guarantee me very good results.

I don't think one treatment is always enough and I definitely needed three, probably four. I am no longer getting free treatments so there is no incentive for me to post this, but I thought how helpful it would have been for me when I was looking and researching if someone else had posted something like this, since when I was looking for information on this all I could find were ads.

I did my treatments in South Africa and after three (and a half) treatments and three months I'd lost 9cms around my waist, and 2cms off each upper thigh. I will say that I didn't lost much weight though, but I wasn't dieting religiously and was drinking like a thirsty alcoholic fish ... I only lost about 3kgs, but it was all in the right places!!! So it now looks like I've lost about 10Kgs, my boyfriend even called me skinny the other day ... !!! OK so he's clearly deluded, and I am far from skinny, but it's still nice to hear!

By the way because this puts huge strain on your liver - drinking alcohol is a very bad idea, so is eating anything fatty which is why I really tried to behave with food, lots of veg and also drank masses of water to help cleanse .. and get rid of the umm ... booze!

By the way the salon hasn't even used my article yet they are re-modelling their website so I'll put the article that I wrote down here ....... there are things to know ... like push for a bargain on more than one treatment, if the tape they use is very sticky WAX or shave before otherwise it will be v. v. owch ... and other stuff ..

*************************

Ive been looking forward to this appointment for some time. The thought of getting rid of cellulite and sorting out some dodgy-body-bits is fantastic. Stripping off in front of a complete stranger who is going to stare intently at my less-than-perfect body? Well OK, not as much fun.

Pondering my less-than-perfect self in the mirror I decide on outer thighs first. That night on the phone chatting with my boyfriend he asks which bit Im zapping.
Saddlebags I say, immediately mortified and wishing Id said outer thighs.
B*gger! Why did I say that? Im sorry but no-one can make the word Saddlebags sound sexy.
Regardless of this unfortunate fact, the word is now out there and I have to do damage control.
Saddlebags? he echoes down the line sounding confused. What are Saddlebags?

Oh Brilliant.

Have you ever tried explaining Saddlebags to a man? If not I vote you never do. Talk about a passion killer. The more you try to describe them the bigger the hole you dig for yourself and the less appealing you start sounding by the second. Realising that Im depreciating faster than the Zimbabwean dollar I vow that from this moment on the only Saddlebags youll hear me talk about will be ones that get strapped onto a horse!

But lets get back to the treatment. After identifying my um Outer Thighs as an area to treat, Christine (my therapist) and I get stuck in. Ultrashape can take quite a while so Id advise you to do it when you have time to relax and youre not clock watching.

First we start off in The Accent Room to get the circulation going. The heat stimulates your blood so that when the Ultrashape part of the treatment starts your body is working at maximum efficiency to get rid of the toxins. Good idea, and its also quite relaxing which is a bonus.

Then off we go to The Ultrashape Room. OK, before we talk about the treatment I must stress that you should DEFINITELY consider waxing or shaving beforehand. There is some very sticky tape, which gets put on your body and I have to say that its not afraid of committing itself to the task at hand. It is sticky. Very sticky. Its also rather painful to remove if you have a whole bunch of fine hairs sticking to it as I did. But then again I am a bit of a wimp.

During my session Christine tirelessly applies the oil necessary for the ultrasound and we natter away for two and a half hours, and then suddenly its done. The treatment is finished and I towel off the excess oil.

I get off the bed and stare at myself in the mirror. Im sure I can already see a difference; then again that could just be wishful thinking. However a week after the treatment I believe I really can see a small change in skin texture, my jeans feel looser, and I would say - as a guess - that there is some centimetre-age being lost.

A week later after the treatment Im back and Christine whips out a tape measure. The moment of truth arrives.

One centimetre lost off each leg and one centimetre around the waist! Yaay! Woo-Hoo! Three centimetres gone! Im especially happy with this result since I have not been able to get to the gym. I will concede that Ive behaved myself with my diet umm, behaved myself and not starved myself, theres a big difference. But on the misbehaving side I have had loads of events to go to where there has been alcohol and nibbles. I do think if Id been better there would have been the potential for even greater results. But as it stands Im very happy.

In summation:

Diary Log: Monday 19th May.
Im very chuffed with this result. In one week Ive lost 3 cms. My first appointment was 13th May and in only six days my jeans feel looser and I think I can see a difference in my skin texture. (I know I'm an optimist but even so I think this might be working!) With regards to contouring since this is the primary function of Ultrashape I can say that my outer thighs have a much-improved shape to them. I will definitely be coming back. Have booked another appointment for early June.

Middle of June

In five weeks Ive lost two centimetres off my waist, one from my left thigh, one off my right thigh and Ive dropped two kilos. Yesterday I had to buy a new pair of jeans because the others were way too big and to my surprise ALL my friends have noticed the change. The new favourite question to ask me has been Wow you look amazing, how much weight have you lost?

Well, you and I know that its not a huge loss, but 2kgs coming off the right places is clearly making a massive impact. How is this for a compliment? You are half the size you were a month before. I was rather taken aback at that one but after a shocked pause, everyone present then proceeded to agree!

After the deluge of compliments I have been so inspired that Ive started running again! Admittedly Im so unfit that it can hardly be called running, more of a bouncy shuffle really, but each day I do the shuffle its gets better and faster. After two weeks of shuffling four kays, four days a week Im now really keen to go back to be measured and weighed again. Good grief! Can this be me talking? I want to be measured and weighed? Voluntarily?

For three sessions of Ultrashape Ive not been seriously dieting, going to gym or running but have lost weight and centimetres. But with this loss I have been inspired. I now feel worthy of my new shape. I actually want to do exercise and keep the momentum going. Im feeling thinner, sexier and happier about my body. Lets see what the next weigh-in says.

Just want to add ..

After reading more posts here that it is VERY important to be taped up and be as bulgy and wobbly as possible on your treatment areas to maximimse the effects ... make sure you are positioned property and your therapist knows what she is doing.
Also bargain for more pulses for your money on more than one treatment, as we are all aware this is not a cheap treatment. (I was given a lot of pulses each session which is probably why I had such good results.)
That said I've been too busy to run for nearly 2 weeks ... writing all this has made me realise how flipping LUCKY I've been, so I'm putting on a tracksuit and getting out there to continue the good work!

Ultrashape

Yes i do, not only do i offer it at our clinic but i've done it! Any questions ladies fire away this is something i know alot about. I researched it for years and the reason i took this job was for training and participating in this kind of amazing tech. and being with a clinic that this amazing with thier clients and thier tech.

Ultrashape does work but...what you need to know

At Laser Rejuvenation Clinics and Spa in Calgary Alberta, Canada I had Ultrashape performed. A series of 3 treatments on my thighs, buttocks and abdomen.
I only lost 1 cm per treatment which was quite perplexing for me as, other than these stubborn spots, I am quite fit. I am 5"7 and 140 lbs. I exercise avidly, weight training 2 days per week, elliptical trainer 3 times a week for an hour, and run 10 kms. twice a week. Everywhere but my trouble spots I am cut. After much research into Ultrashape I discerned that I am the perfect candidate so I forked over almost $10,000 to the Laser Rejuvenation Clinic which lauded the same results put forth in clinical trials by Ultrashape. The problem is that they don't observe the working protocol in order to achieve the results. Most pointedly as contained in an abstract from a clinical trial: Thirty six patients between 21 and 60 years old, 33 females and 3 males with diagnosis of lipodismorphism, were treated for localized adiposities in several parts of the body: abdomen, flanks or/and tights in three sequenced sessions of approximately 1000 ultrasonic pulses each one, made one month apart.
I received half that number of pulses in each treatment, hence my below average results. So I went looking for more information and discovered this: The patients position affects fat thickness and texture. Position 3 causes more thickness and the fat is softer. It can be improved with the help of elastic banding and specially designed cushions.
Utilisation of elastic banding and cushions: Cushions are used to position the area to be treated as parallel as possible to the surface of the treatment table and to improve patient comfort and stability. Banding is used to approximate the end of the ellipse in order to reduce tension and to increase fat thickness in the area to be treated with the Ultrashape.
The technicians who worked on me basically laid the tape on me , barely applying any pressure to the fat which did not isolate it for the machine to be able to pick up the number of pulses it would have required to give me the full treatment I had paid for!! Nor did they use any cushions to position me even though the special Ultrashape positioning pillows and cubes were on another table in the room. When I asked one of the technicians what they were for she was at least honest and told me they were for positioning patients but that I didn't need them! I just laid out flat on the table with a tiny little pillow under my head. I fully believe that they are aware of the proper working protocol because the last technician I had was a really kind woman and took pity on me because I'd just had my measurement a month after the second treatment and still only a centimeter of loss in all 3 areas. She did my last treatment and she cinched me up tight with the tape for the first time!! It's 8 days later and I've lost 4 cm already around my butt!! So it does work but you have to make sure the place you have it done is ethical and not trying to prey on people like me who just desperately want what they pay for to work. Thank god I had that one last treatment because I had actually started to buy in to the nasty consultant feeding me that there are some people it doesn't work for. They did allow as how they'd be so kind as to let me pay for as many more treatments as I need at the rate of $800 apiece. At the rate they do treatments that would have only cost me about another 10 grand or so. The transducer, which is the handheld piece of the Ultrashape machine, has to be replaced after so many pulses and it's expensive so between doling out the absolute minimum pulses they can in order to produce just the most minimal results and preying on the fact that they know even the littlest improvement could cause people to continue to throw good money after bad they have got quite a con job going on here.
I tried every day this week to get the consultant on the phone and left message after message. She knows I've figured out their scam and thinks that ignoring me will make me go away. She does not know me very well.
I am meeting with a class action lawyer on Monday and am hoping that others who have had similar experiences will want to join me. There are so many people on the web who have not had good results that I have to believe that there are other places out there conning people too.
In summation I am writing this blog as the start of my internet campaign to enlighten people like me as I wish someone had done for me before this company ripped me off...
One of the technicians who performed one of my procedures did tell me that Dr. Tom Woo had recently decided he couldnt do liposuction anymore and I know that is much more expensive so I theorize that hes looking to replace that revenue by reducing the efficacy of Ultrashape in order to prey on people who hope and pray that Ultrashape will work and suck them dry of all the money he can.

Ultrashape machine

Hi there,

My name is Jennifer. I know the clinic you are referring to since I just went for a free consultation. I'm so sorry to hear about your not so good experience. Rather than spend $10,000 (which is what I'd need too) I am considering purchasing a machine to use for myself and friends. What do you think about that?

Feel free to call me at 663-9360 if you'd like to discuss further.

Sincerely,
Jennifer

Ultrashape at laser rejuvenation clinic in calgary

The Laser Rejuvenation Clinic told me, (not that ANYTHING else they told me was truthful), that the machine costs $250,000. I don't have that kind of money. I'm still smarting financially from losing $10,000 for only one proper treatment...but please let me know if this is something you decide to pursue. I am booked in June to go to Toronto and get one more proper treatment done on my abdomen.
Another thing I discovered is that the clinic I went to should not be forcing people to pay for 3 treatments( to the tune of $3495 even if they only they need only one treatment) but I guess that's just another facet of their endeavor to hose people...and since they do such a poor job I suppose even someone with a tiny amount would have to go back a minimum of 3 times!!

Ultrashape pricing at the laser rejuvenation clinics and spa in calgary

It has been brought to my attention by someone who read my posts about Ultrashape at The Laser Rejuvenation Clinics and Spa and my experience, and has recently gone for a consultation there, that they have changed their pricing in an attempt to discredit what I have been posting. Be very cautious if you go there for this procedure. The clinical studies that they tout regarding the efficacy of Ultrashape clearly state that the controlled variable of at least 1000 pulses MUST be performed for it to give you the average 2.5cm result. That number is clearly available on the bottom of the screen (I had the presence of mind to look at that and record it every time) before they start the procedure and throughout as the other number counts down next to the number of pulses. The second variable of taping your fat up to bring it all within the area should achieve the 1000 pulses unless your are a toothpick. You should be wrapped all the way around your body above and below the area to be treated and it should be hard to move. The tape should be stretchy like the Tensoplast adhesive bandage you can find in any drug store. If I had to do it over again I'd bring my own!! Also you should pay around $1 per pulse, which, if they had been ethical about it they should have given me, because I paid that and then some!! And they should NOT be making people pay for 3 treatments UP FRONT, regardless of whether or not a person will need them...

Ultrashape pricing per pulse

And the $1 per pulse is TOP dollar! From what pricing I've been able to gather where it's available around the world the average is about 80 cents USD per pulse.

Ultrashape does work but...more of what you need to know

To tell how many pulses you are getting, the number appears at the bottom of the monitor right after they position the markers on you. There will be the number of pulses on one side at the bottom of the screen and another number next to it which reflects the pulses counting down as they've been administered. There's no reason that you shouldn't see that number and if you've been taped properly and aren't too skinny for the procedure it should be in the range of 1000 or more pulses per treatment area which is 36 cm x 36cm, the size of area used in the clinical studies for Ultrashape. The clinic I went to said it was the size of 2 of my hands, which incidentally are 18 cm long but only 13 cm wide. Another way of reducing the efficacy of the treatment...
I have corresponded with several people who have had good results with their treatments and they all said that they were taped up so tight they could not move in order to isolate the areas treated. The tape should be a Tensoplast type stretch adhesive bandage, not the stuff they basically just laid on me to no effect on me which was akin to packing tape and took 4 days of labor intensive scrubbing to get the adhesive off. All these factors designed to make what I paid for work as minimally as possible... If I learned just one thing from this experience it's pay attention and don't take anyone's word for anything!!

I've tried ultratone?

I had ultratone a few weeks ago, i had a session once a week gor a month and dropped a whols dress size!
It was biostimulation on my tummy muscles which was totally pain free and i am so happy... just the kick start i needed to make the best of the summer body Definately recommend it!

Ultratone

Did it stay off? Where did you have it done and how much did they charge?

Inner thighs

Hi,

unfortunatley Ultra Shape has only just arrived in germany and no one really knows if it works. It seems like there are good results with the abdomen and waist -but has anyone had any results on the inner thighs? and if yes, after how many treatments? Ive only had one treatment so far and I know that the first results are barely seen after one, but I don`t wnat to spend not money in vain either.

Please tell me your results! Thank you!

Some feedback on ultrashape consultation

I booked a consultation with a clinic here in Vancouver for $150.00 which can be applied to your procedure if you decide to go ahead. My impression was that it is a somewhat effective pocedure but the doctor and his assistants were not willing to really commit to "guaranteed" results saying it depends on many factors and individuals. Which I totally understand, but what bugged me was they spouted a lot of scientific jargon all the while, however they didn't really ask me about my lifestyle, eating habits, etc. just took my word that I had stubborn spots that don't respond to diet and exercise. They asked where my areas of concern were, which typically, for most women, are abdomen, love handles and thighs. They then looked at these areas on me with templates that help them establish a quote for the cost of all these areas. I am 5' 4" approx. 125lbs fit, active, eat well, 43, two children so I thought I would be a good candidate, with minimum amount to target. The quote came out to over $8000.00 CAD, which I found to be extremely pricey, considering that traditional liposuction would cost approximately the same. I just couldn't get past a feeling that they weren't being truly ethical and getting down to the important questions, instead focusing on how each pulse costs money, the room is booked for several hours, etc. in an effort to justify this exorbitant quote I suppose. Yes, I know, non-invasive, no down time etc. but still! At least with lipo, you have removed fat, guaranteed, so needless to say, I won't be going ahead with this procedure. That $150.00 was well spent in my opinion, since it has made me rethink my priorities although for such a superficial consultation, I felt a bit scammed. A psychological therapy session would probably have cost the same and done more good! Comes back to the old "no magic bullet" One must really commit to eating unprocessed, whole foods, minimum alcohol. Regular exercise, including building muscle, especially after 40, since we lose muscle mass as we age and understand that more calories expended verses calories consumed means weight loss and increasing metabolism through muscle mass is the only way to burn fat that is hanging around. Every fitness guru worth their salt will tell you that this is the only way to get the body and the health benefits that go along with this commitment. Last but not least, let's try to embrace our individual flaws and qualities and love ourselves.
Peace.

Found more before and afters

First of all :
Thank you so much for all your input guys I really appreciate all of your thoughts and experiences and that you took the time out to share them (I know its for all of us and not really just for me, but it feels a bit like it is)

I still havent had the treatment not for any reason besides time and life getting in the way. I was reminded of the treatment when I saw it advertised in the newspaper this week and thought Id see if there was any more information about the treatment. I did a google search and found that my little question had climbed almost to the top of the list )

Anyway, I also went to the website where I first discovered the treatment there are some more before and after pictures there. Question for all of you who have had the treatment: Do your results look like this?

http://www.ellipseklinikken.co.uk/ultrashape_case.-asp

thanks again and lotsa love,
meegs
