Ultra shape v liposoft
Hi, I'm really interested in Liposoft and am starting to research it. I was curious to see if you went ahead with your liposoft treatment and if you did, how did it go? Natalie

Ultrashape and accent
Hi I'm putting up this posting as I've had a lot of PM's re my treatment. I have been really pleased with my treatment last year and have not needed to go back. The Viva Clinic now offers a treatment called Accent which is meant to be good for cellulite. I only know this because they sent me some promo material and you can have it in combination with Ultrashape.

Ultrashape
hi Stella I am also interested in having an Ultrashape treatment and I was wondering which area you had treated? Whether there were noticable results from one treatment or whether you have to have more than one treatment? any info would be much appreciated. Thanks Mary

Ultrashape
Hi Mary
I had the treatment on my tummy. It's just a small area of fat that I couldn't shift with diet and exercise. I really didn't want to have surgery so this seems ideal.
I had to follow a low carb diet for 4 days which was easy. I have to go back in just over a week to get measured up and see what I've lost. The dr said many people are happy with one treatment, but others may need more. I guess it depends on what you want to get rid of.
So far, my trousers are starting to feel a bit looser, but hopefully in another week, I'll see a definate difference.
Are you thinking of going to the same dr? Would highly recommend.

Ultrashape
Hi Stella I noticed that you have had the ultrashape treatment and was wondering if you have been back for your re measurement yet? I'm considering going to the same clinic and am anxious to know if this works or not. Do you mind me asking how much you paid for your treatment. I've had a quote and it seems quite a lot cheaper than the other clinics in central London who provide the procedure. Thanks Debbie

My great results
Hi Debbie
Yep, I went back at the end of last week....and I've lost just over 3cm which is fantastic. I'm really pleased and so I think its money well spent.
I paid £400 for my treatment. I think it all depends on the size of the area and obviously that varies from person to person. I was quoted anything from £300 for a small area upwards, so I think the quote was fine. He tells you exactly how much it will be when he sees you so I guess if it sounds like too much, you may be able to make the area smaller.
I don't know why the clinic is cheaper, but the service is excellent. They have the added bonuses of offering free consultations and have free parking. I looked into central London clinics and they charged £200 for a consultation and no parking. It makes a difference to the overall package i think!
Anyway, I would say go for it! Let me know how you get on. Stella

Thanks for the reply
Hi Stella
Thanks for letting me know how you got on - it makes a difference to know somebody who has had successful results. I actually got an email from the developers of ultrashape in Israel today as I enquired about the clinics who provide the procedure in the uk(I was hoping there was one in Manchester) it seems as though there are only 3 who do it at the moment, all in London, one of which is Dr Tapan Patel. I feel much more confident about going to the viva clinic now and will certainly let you know how I get on!!
Thanks again
Debbie

Ultrashape, smartlipo and accent
Hi, I have a normal BMI but a flabby stomach with loose skin because I lost a lot of weight a couple of years ago. I had a consultation for Ultrashape but they said it's more suitable for younger women with tight fat pockets (the older you get, the more dispersed your fat pockets become. I'm 46). The doctor recommended the radio frequency Accent treatment, which I thought would be great for toning the skin, but I Care For My Body in Knightsbridge said I had too much skin; it's really only suitable for ridges. I'm now looking into SmartLipo, which seems to be suddenly on offer in several clinics. The fat is metabolised over a few weeks but the laser provides skin tightening benefits by stimulating your own collagen production. I'll let you know how I get on!!

Does ultrashape work on small sized women
Hello Stella,
So glad I have found someone who has had it done. I'm really thinking about but I'm a size 10 and it's just a stubborn area do you think it would work?
|
|
|
Free consultation!
Hi Anna I'm not a doctor so couldn't tell you, but its meant to be for those stubborn areas, so I don't see why it shouldnt work.
The clinic I went to (details in previous replies) offers a free consualtation, whereas the others charge in the region of £200!! My friend went to see the dr too but he said she was unsuitable. So, in this instance, I wouldn't worry about being ripped off. I think he would give you an honest opinion and seeing as the consultation if free, what have you got to loose?
I wish you well. I would be interested to know what you think.
Stella

Ultrashape doesn't work
Hi everybody It didn't work for me, maybe the lack of carbs and increased exercise caused the weight loss! Don't waste your money on another expensive fad!

Little to no weight change
We always take weight before each treatment. In our institute we use Ultrashape as it was designed : to treat located areas of fat. We do not focus on weight change. In fact most of our patients show little to no weight change, even after several sessions. However cm loss is measured as a direct result of the treatment, usually 4 to 6 cm after 3 sessions ON AVERAGE. This is not the spectecular change that one will see after a full blown liposuction, however Ultrashape is non invasive, no risk AND permanent.

Ultrashape
I am a cosmetic surgeon in Austrialia and purchased this device 15months ago.We processed over 23 patients.Only 2 had anyresults even then it was minimal. This was in spite of the Israeli specialist techs doing some of the treatments. This technology is a complete waste of money and ethically I cannot recommend it to any one Please save your money

Ultrashape doesn't work
H, I was interested to see that your Ultrashape didn't work. Which clinic did you use and how many sessions did you have? Did you take this up with them and if so what was their response?

Ultrashape
I too am interested to know which clinic you used. I had a consultation a fortnight ago and am still undecided. It will cost me £750 as have a bigger area of fat.
