Hi all
I've heard some great things about the using botox to achieve a slight brow lift (1-3mm) but am having a hard time finding someone to do the procedure. Web searches find a lot of people in California, but that's no help to me here in London!
Has anyone had a botox brow lift, and can anyone recommend where I could go for this?
Thanks!
Kay

Botox can be used effectively to lift the brow (3mm maximum) and so lift the whole face slightly. The success really depends on who you go to. I work in this industry and, like any procedure, results can vary according to the practitioner, so do your research.
It really is a case of 'less is more' with botox. Too much in this particular area of the face and you can end up with a cat-like appearance (see if you can spot the celebrities who have had this done!)
A combination of botox, dermal filers for the nose to mouth lines, and Sculptra to contour the lower jaw, can work brilliantly as a combination treatment, providing you have a really skilled practitioner.
Although this can be really expensive, these is talk of a combination treatment being brought out at a more affordable price. A skilled practitioner must be able to analyase your specific bone structure and how your face is ageing. It really isn't a case of one size fits all with botox etc

I wouldn't bother about anti wrinkle creams. I've tried all of them including expensive wrinkle fillers and they don't work. They're more effective at preventing wrinkles or giving a temp effect.
I trained as a beauty therapist and anything that penetrates the skin too much can't be used as cosmetic as it would be classed as medical.

I found this clinic where I went for another treatment, but they do botox. I told my sister about it and she had been thinking about havong botox for a while. Anyway, she went to this clinic and was really pleased with the result. Her brows do seem higher and her face just looks, well, its hard to describe, but she looks better! http://www.heathclinic.co.uk/viva/wrinkle-injectio-n-therapy.htm l She saw Dr Patel, quite a young, funky doctor.
Hope this helps.

hi i had botox this year, inbetween eyes and forehead, and noticed a definite eyebrow lifting effect. so you may well find if you get a good practitioner this will happen anyway. hope this helps x

I think Botox is a bit extreme why not try other products I found a really good anti wrinkle treatment from LA Looks, it was £19, however I have since found it for a lot, lot cheaper on the following website www.allureamour.co.uk It may not be permanent but it is painless and I think it is effective.
