Im going to be a profy-faker as you soon, cos I've tried a plenty products, but finally ended up with Delph lotions. The best thing about them that I dont have orange hands and awfull streaky lines.

"You don't have strange skin!" Posted by karenjnorth 4 March at 14:43
Hi
You're not alone, I have had the same problem. I have had far more success with the milks. The gels & definitely the sprays are a no no - they tend to dry your skin. I'm sure you do, but I invest in a tan preserving moistutiser & am religious about applying it. Bit of a pain, but I wasn't blessed with olive skin so needs must!

"Fake tan disasters" Posted by goldenglow 11 August at 22:16
The problem with the home products is that when used too often you will get the problems described. You end up with a build up that eventually will make you orange and/or will cause uneven fading and blotchiness. As far as spray tanning is concerned, the UK is way behind Australia and the USA. Everyone has heard of Fake Bake or St. Tropez neither of which I rate but there is a product called Liquid Sun from Vani-T which is fab. Really good colour and fades really well. 99% natural ingredients too.

Lancaster do a great one that i use and find does not (if used sparingly) crumble after a few days...it seems to fade with no stubborn stains.

"Serial fake tanner!" Posted by carolo281 2 August at 16:55
After trying nearly everyone on one the market, I find I always come back to either the St Tropez Mousse (if I'm feeling flush), it's easy to apply and gives an instant colour and then develops in about 3 hours, it dries quick so it's handy having young kids. However, I'm really pleased with a spray tan called Natural Tan that I bought on the internet from www.discountbeautyshop.co.uk, it was £4.95 (RRP is £16) and I bought a mitt to apply it with that was £1.95. Spray on to the mitt and then use the mitt to apply, the mitt is washable and the tan has a slight colour and then develops. My friends are now using it too.
Good Luck and hope this helps
