thanks so much for your message...i chose the hospital group because i bumped into an old friend of mine. same age and breast size and has had children like me and she looks totally fabulous!!!!! at first i couldn't work out why, then i realised that she had had breast implants.. i have seen them in the flesh so to speak, the scar is so neat and healed beautifully and they look and feel real and that's despite going from 'puppy ears of 34b to 34e!!! She had the work done by Miss Hazarika and she sadly just left for a yr to work in europe and so i can't have her and i must admit this initially made me v nervous as i felt so at ease at the thought of a woman woking on me. however, my consult was to be with mr Ottaviani and has now changed to be with prof marcos sforza who i have checked gmc and he has been qulified as a doctor since 1998 and has worked for HG for 6mths and cannot register with GMC as a plastic surgery specialist until he has completed British ps qulifications to add to his own which although of a v high standard cannot be registered in uk. unless he re takes the ps qualifications in the uk. i have recieved his certificates and he seems to have a lot of experience in brazil, paris and other places abroad, so i feel fairly confident. He is 32 and i am told his work is of a v high standard but of course it is a little daunting to say the least!!! However, i have preovisionally booked my surgery for the 3 october as i have decided to do this for ME not because i hate my current breasts ,,actually i have always been rather fond of them but the upper part of my breast disappeared after having my son many yrs ago and i feel you only have one life and i have toyed with the idea for 20yrs and my sister died last xmas and now i want to live the moment. there is always a risk in everything we do in life and i am past being nervous about the decision and feel v confident about the hospital group and it's staff and quality based on my dear friends recommendation and results.. i have breast cysts so when i have my consult next week i may find i am not able to have a BA anyway in which case, i will have let go of that idea (a little sadly, but life goes on) but if it;s all ok hooray!! of course when the day comes for surgery i will be nervous and i am afraid of injections but i am a v positve person and if i do it it, i am determined to be upbeat and look ahead.. i will let you know how the consult goes. when is yours? are you about to have the consult or the surgery? i am going from 334b to full c and i favor unders in principle as mammograms are more difficult with overs and you have to sign a disclaimer to have one with implants in case they damage them.. however,the surgeon may feel unders are not right for me. and thousands of women have BA's every yr and they can't all have probs. the risks are there but they are rare.. let me know how you are. my partner thinks my current breasts are lovely and he is used to them after 16yrs but he is supportive without any pressure if it makes me happy and we are to marry in march 07 so i want to be healed in time.. my girlfriend is coming with me maybe you could take someone you feel ok with..do write again with your thoughts and news and i will keep you posted about my progress.. lots of love ...julia...

i am due to have BA on 18th November with Dr Marcos Zforza and wanted to know what he was like. I found him to be very nice and i felt comfortable with him. My sistaer is also haveing BA but her surgeon is Dr Pagganelli (sorry if the spelling is incorrect) i went with her when she had her consultation and i felt that he explained things alot more than Dr Sforza. I have read through his qualifications and also rung the GMC just to make sure he was registered. he has not been with the hospital group for long so i just wanted to know what you thought about him.

Sorry its taken me so long to write back. In my opinion Mr Sforza is a very kind gentle man who has made my year. I am really happy with my implants and feel great. I have increased to a C Cup from an A and so far all is great.

I would definately recommend him, he did exactly as I asked and made me feel really at ease. I am feeling really well, I have had no pain at all and have not needed to take any pain killers. There is a little discomfort whilst trying to sleep but this is because you have to sleep upright for the first week or so. I gave up on this after 1 week as it gave me terrible back ache. If you have any further questions please let me know.

Hi there I have been looking at what everyone thinks of Marcos and I am having a ba in 2 and a half weeks and I am very nervous. I am going from a double a to a small c i think, but I dont want it to look silly on me as i have a small frame. I am scared of injections too and very worried at being alone, but i have brought the new Jordan novel to read so hopefully that will keep me occupied. I have wanted to do this for 8 years now (now 28) and I have finally plucked up the courage. My mum has used Marcos and said he is very friendly and made her feel at ease. Are you happy with the outcome of your ba? I am having it under the breast muscle too was yours under or over? Thank you, xx

I had overs and was not asked if I wanted round or tear shaped. Overs I understand is less painful than unders as the breast tissue is not disturbed.
