You will be fine!! good luck.

Hi kitkat

I had my BA with the Hospital Group at Crown House in Birmingham just over a week ago and everything went really well. My surgeon was Mr Araco who did a wonderful job and the staff both before and after the operation were fantastic. I know of quite a few girls who have recently had ba's with the Hospital Group and their results are great too and they are very happy. I have just had my week follow up appointment today and everything is healing nicely.

I wouldn't read too much into the stories on here, there is more good than bad and I have had a great experience and have yet to speak to someone who hasn't.

Who is your surgeon and where are you having your surgery?

I had BA in april, not in london though, you must bare in mind there are chances of complications, the above poster seems to disragard this fact.
I had a complication with one of my incisions failing to heal, and had a nightmare, at the time i wished i hadnt had them done, as i thought i would have to have the implant removed, thankfully i didnt, but it was very worrying.
Buti can now say even with the complications, im soo pleased i had BA, i would just give u one bit of really important advice.
Check your surgeons qualifications, and his work, always try to find people that have had the surgeon and check he is on the BAAPS register!!

Hi, just to say that I do not disregard the fact that complications do occur just that they are rare. I know of at least 8 people who have had breast augmentations (7 of them with the Hospital Group )- 6 within the last 3 months and they are all fine - only one of them had a complication (infection) - and she had her surgery with Harley Medical Group.

Just wanted to clear that up. And, as for the BAAPS register, as pointed out to me once by a PS (who is BAAPS registered) - this is NOT a qualification but something that surgeons can join. My boyfriend had gynecomastia and has had two surgeries, one with a BAAPS registered surgeon and he didn't do a great job.

Hi i think youll find being BAAPS registered is a good thing, i was pointing out, its important to check up on the surgeons.
Knowing 7 people having BA's is hardly a percentage, and doesnt mean that there are not complications.
I think she should read up on them just incase something goes wrong!!
Ive been reasearching surgery for over 4 years, i think i know !!

Ok I wasn't trying to get funny with you but I HAVE had surgery with Mr Araco - have you? Two friends of mine have also had surgery with Mr Araco also and they have had no problems. I am not saying that being registered with BAAPS is a bad thing just that its not the be all and end all of great surgeons.

I am sure that KitKat is sensible enough to know what she is doing and just because you have been researching surgery for over 4 years hardly makes you an expert does it!
