Waxing facial hair

Hi,
Im a new member so Im not sure if this has been discussed before.

Im quite fair skinned but have dark hair, so Im quite conscious about facial hair. Im currently using VEET Immac Wax strips for use on Facial hair, except every time I do wax (mostly the sides of my face), I get little red bumps on my skin where Ive waxed, and these usually take 2-3 days to go down.

Does anyone know any way to reduce the bumps?
I wouldnt say I have really sensitive skin. I'd lighten my hair using Hair Lightner etc but I hate having the hair on my face!!!

Same situation!

I have the same complain-dark facial hair. I do bleach to lighten the colour, but I also hate the hair on my face. I did try to remove them using creams, it worked but I want a more permanent lasting thing. I am thinking about waxing but have not tried it for the reason that you gave-the red bumps, or pimples. Maybe I will stick to the creams!

I wax facial hair too because I'm exactly the same. When I wax it leaves the same red bumps. I just cover them up with make up. I've tried moisturising after a day. that usually helps me a bit. But if you've just started waxing like me you probably aren't used to waxing yet. I think after a few years it should get used to it and cope better. x x x
