| Thread started by: | "Breast enlargement: the first day after.." Posted by mmb29 13 November at 18:36
Hello
Can anyone advise?
I have my breast enlargement planned on the 23rd of december; just before christmas. After the operation, I will stay in a hotel with a friend for one night. My family would not understand and neither be interested so i did not inform them. I don't want them to notice anything; i will just grow a slight size; from a small B to a large B or a small C max. From what i've heard is the more your breast have grown, the more painfull the recovery will be. My questions:
How will I feel the days after?
Can I travel by train about 36 hours after and carry my light weight travel bag?
Will I be able to enjoy christmas and hide the pain?
When can I dance/pull/run/carry boxes/bend over again?
Many thanks in advance,MMB

Hi ive just had my op on the 23rd i went from a B to a D(350cc), its been three days now and im still finding it a bit difficult to get used to them, its not that their pinful just really uncomfortable, im tired all the time for not being able to sleep in the night and i am restricted from doing a lot of thigs, my partner has taken on the role of house husband because i cant do most things. they advise you not to lift your arms up higher than your shoulders and carrying anything heavy or strenuous is a big NO NO i wouldnt even chance it with something light for the first few days. you probably will be able to travel by train but i dont know about enjoying xmas, mothers have a way of knowing evrything and im afraid she probably will notice there is something wrong as you dont carry yourself in the same way for the first couple of days. as for dancing ect they tell you not to do any of the mentioned for about four weeks. my best advice is to sit them down tell them how unhappy you are with your breasts and that your an adult and your gonna change them, not dramatically but slightly to make yourself feel better, you'd really like their help and support but you will still go ahead with the op without their blessing as this is something you have to do for yourself, play the guilt card on them and say if you want me to be happy then you'd understand. i understand you dont want to go much bigger than you are already but if you go to a B then they will swell bigger than than that for a week or two until they settle into shape and back down into a B. do you know who your surgeon is? and what implants your having? are they behind the muscle or infront because behind hurts more than infront. hope this info helps in any way let me know how you get on x

hi, i had a breast enlargement 4 weeks ago and it still hurts like hell!!! in your general self you will feel fine, and yes i could travel, but i suggest you do not carry a case that is too heavy. i went from an a cup to a d which i didn't think was too big, but it is the aching and the sensitivity that has got to me. and the soreness where the scars are. i so do not want to put you off because the result is fantastic, but please be aware, it will hurt!!! one more thing, use plenty of e45 afterwards, and put in on a radiator to warm up. bliss!!! lol, best of luck.

Beci,i hope you are feeling better now, i didn,t have stitches, but i was glued together (whaaat!!!!) but my scars are nearly gone. i just had my checkup but was in so much discomfort that my surgeon will see me again in 3 months, but i must admit today i almost feel normal I RAN AFTER THE DOG, and it didn,t hurt. lashings of e45 warmed up tho helps, i am so pleased with the end result. went from a 36A to a 36D, but have to wear a 38D to accomodate everything! have you abandoned the sports bra's yet? cocodog.x

Thanks for your reply. Mine are fine now too. Scars are a bit pink but thats expected. Glad youre ok now. I dont sleep in my sports bra anymore, but during the day i wear it. Sometimes i wear a normal bra, but to be honest, ive only got two normal ones that are my new size so im still using the two sports bras aswell. Its too near xmas to go out buying new bras, im getting lots for xmas so until then, im making do with my two normal bras and my two sports bras!! he he! Are u out of yours yet? Im so happy with my result now and my nipples are almost back to normal. Hope youre happy too x

Do it, just because you can!!!!!!!!!!!!! and do it for yourself. Coco x

I would advise you to be careful. I had mine done 2 weeks ago and all you should be doing is resting. Ur not bed bound so it would be possible to hide it from them but still u need to rest or its likely your stitches will open up. U will just feel tired for a good few days after. U wont want to move around much. Make sure your bag is lightweight!! As for hiding it on christmas day...well, depends on how u deal with it. Some people find its no pain some people find the pain unbearable. Take painkillers and that will obviously help. As for dancing, running etc, u have to judge that by your own recovery rate. Put it this way, u wont be pulling out any dance moves on xmas day, probably not on new yeras eve either!! Im driving around now, shopping, etc, and i had mine done two weeks ago today, but i still have to be very careful coz they do still feel slightly bruised and i still have to make sure i dont rip open the stitches. Try and let me know how u get on. Good luck tho, but i definately recommend that you just look after them (in a sneaky way!!) Beci x Ps are the hospital not making you stay there over night as they should do?

Hi Beci,
Thanks for your reply. I have mine done in Belgium since it's quit inexpensive there. I can not stay for the night so I'll go back to the hotel in the evening after having breasts done in the morning.
About the stitches: May i ask where your implants have been inserted? Mine will probably go thru the nipples so i suppose the stitches will be relative small? And how many ml. have your breasts grown?
Thanks!

I had mine inserted underneath, so im not sure bout the nipple. I went from an a/b to a D. i had 375ml in both of mine. Just be careful. Beci x
