Hi, When I went in I took the size bra that I wanted to be a 32dd. My surgeon then did my BA to that size. Although I was swollen, the bra does stretch. Take your pjs and slippers, magazines, mobile so you can let everyone know when it's done. I had a room to myself with a tv and I did tend to sleep quite a bit. I bet you're really excited, well Good Luck and let us know how you get on.

Hiya
I had a BA on friday i forgot my eye make up remover and they asked me to remove it so pack that and maybe something sweet to eat when you come round a few biscuits were good they brought me a cup of tea and a biscuit straight away but the lady next to me had to wait for ages for hers. the bra i got on the saturday from M& S its a post op bra its £20 transform said they didnt give bras out unless you pre ordered but you dont know what size you will be i ask to be a DD i am wearing a 36F so go out and get a bra after you come out it will be sore but be brave. With the swelling you will prob be a 32DD.
Good luck keep us posted.

Hiya
I am doing ok now the pain( well its not really pain more uncomfortable) is better, i was not really nervous i arrived on my own as partner works so that helped i was in a room for two but the curtains are pulled so you dont see anyone if you dont want to. i was at the abbey heath in london. No nail polish and all jewellery to be removed. The nurses dont wash you but you cant get the strapping wet so you will probably have to get your boyfriend/husband to do it when you get home.
You will be fine they give you pain killers and they do help.
Good luck

Good morning!! It is always difficult to tell what size bra to get which is why Transform gave me one the day of my op (not sure if that is standard practise but Mr Singh told me not to bother buying one until after the op!)
If they reckon you will be a 32C - get that size. People talk about swelling etc. and that is often the case but the chances are that they wont swell enough to make a difference to a sports bra. They are supposed to be quite "tight fitting" anyway so got for the size they say and if it isn't comfortable, get a different size AFTER the op and once you've been measured properly xx
