I recommend you to verify if you have a hormonal problem with an endocrinologist.

Have you tried proactive? I have had awesome, lasting results with this product. Their three step program is the best.

"Some ideas" Posted by celestialglow 8 May at 18:30
I got acne as an adult and found that a mild facewash (and if you wear makeup then pre-cleanse with a cleansing lotion then use the facewash) plus Differin (from doctor) as well as a light non-pore clogging moisturiser worked well to get rid of acne. Also once or twic e a week use an exfoliator for the face (with grains in it) and a mud mask. This makes your skin look much more calmer and smoother with time. Try and get a moisturiser with vitamin C and A in it to heal the skin

"Try aloe vera" Posted by chapuzebis 4 May at 22:29
it's absolutely fantastic. Aloes penetrates very deeply into the skin, its regenerates, rehydrates and cures everything. Your skin will like it. I'm French and I have two teenagers (15 and 13) they use aloe gelly every day and they recommend it to their friends. The main quality of aloe vera is that it doesn't stick at all, is not greasy and has the same Ph as your skin. It's natural and it's better than antibiotics which are chemical elements into your body.

"Tips for getting rid of acne" Posted by mellyjane 12 March at 21:54
Hi there,
I've also suffered with acne for years on and off, since I was a teenager.
First of all go to the doctors. Generally, if your acne is quite bad then the lotions and potions you find in the shops are not going to do the trick. Ask your doctor about PanOxyl wash. This can be used on face or body and is alot stronger than clearasil, oxy etc.
Also, ask about going on antibiotics. They will give you either tetracycline or erythromycin. They can take up to 7 weeks to work but can be very affective.
I dont know how old you are but another effective treatment is to take he contraceptive pill called Dianette. This contains an ingredient which prevents spots.
My spots were at their worst when I was about 14. I went on a drug called roacatain but it nmade me very ill so I came off it. I also went on steroids for a couple weeks to dry my skin out which helped a little.
The thing that worked for me though was taking Dianette and erythromycin together. My skin totally cleared up.
I am currently using PanOxyl wash on my back as have had an outbreak (week before 21st what a bummer!)
For when your skin is not too bad I would recomend oxy pads for day to day use, and Elizabeth Arden foundation for covering them up (again dependent on age)
Best of luck, feel free to send me a private message to say how it all goes and let me know if you find any great cures yourself!
M x
