My experience with teeth whitening - hope it helps
I've had my teeth done at a private hospital specialising in beauty proceedures. It cost me £500. It was the bleach in the gum-shields with the laser for a hour. My teeth were very dry on the surface afterwards, this is due to the fact that the process strips away the protective enamel. It does come back eventually but DO NOT drink/eat anything that will stain for the first month to 6 wks or so until the protective enamel builds back up again, and you will know when this has happened as when you run your tongue over them after the proceedure (assuming they're not too sensitive) they will feel dry. When the enamel has built back up they will feel like silk agin, nice and smooth when you run your tongue over them. After the proceedure I was in agony...and I mean agony...due to sensitivity...NONE of this was explained to me by the way, by the clinic. THE RESULTS....It doesn't so much whiten your teeth as make them look cleaner. I will try to explain...for example if you have yellow'ish teeth...they don't suddenly end up being bright snow white after the proccess....they are still yellow...but they are more glowy and bright and somehow look cleaner, it kind of takes the dullness away and leaves them bright. It's like when a child wipes his hands on a new bright yellow tshirt after having them in soil, and you wash the tshirt and it leaves a sort of
