How to improve the skin beneath my eyes?

I am getting white spots (slightly raised) just below my eyes (not sure what they are called).

They seem to get worse if I don't get enough sleep - but they never seem to get better.

They probably age me more than anything else... does anyone know how I can get rid of them?

Skin beneath your eyes

jane, these are probably milia, can't be sure without seeing them. They are small and solid and are formed when skin grows over the hair follicle, this then obstructs the passage of sebum onto the surface of the skin. They are usually found around the eyes and above the cheekbones of people with dry skin. These need to be removed by a qualified beauty therapist by using a sterilised needle. They probably won't disappear on their own.
