Fake tan for face

Hello everyone one wondered if anyone could help me.

Im trying to give up doing the sunbeds this summer, however still want that summer glow but fake tans are such a pain!

Take ages to dry
Smell funny
Get dodgy marks
rub off on clothes bed sheets towels
takes a couple of days to rub off after a lot of pain scrubbing!
expensive!

Anyone feel the same?

Anyway must do this for my skin but wanted to know how people use fake tan on face without, well it looking fake! and rubbing off. I exfoliate my face everyday twice a day will this work?

Any response appreciated.

Hi,
I use Johnsons Daily facial moisturiser as it is mainly a moisturiser but with a hint of fake tan!
It is really good, not streaky at all.
It is usually between £6 and £8 but I found it on an ebay shop - Spirit Beauty and Cosmetics for £3.99!

Hi just getting back to you on the fake tan for your face post.

You should try Garnier Subline Gel. It is a lovely colour not "fake" looking, smells lovely when applying it, and goes on evenly if u apply in circular movements all over your face and body. This is the only fake tan i found looked nice and not dirty on my face. It also doesnt rub off on clothing etc.

You can buy this gel from stores such as Asda , Boots , Superdrug etc for about £9.99 but is worth every penny.

Definelty recommend this product. Let me know how u get on if u go ahead with it.

Well done for giving up the sunbeds - there not good for you. The are a few great products on the market at the moment and they don't give you wrinkles!! Clarins do a good one that is easy to apply and really doesn't look fake, it gives you more of a healthy glow rather than a orange tango look. The colour lasts for ages and just seems to fade naturally so you don't have to scrub it off. Found a great web site that does it for £12.25 (price in the shop is about £15). Much cheaper than sunbeds and lasts longer. Also the Lancome Tanning Gel gives a good colour too - believe me I tried alot, I'm from Scotland and my skin is more white with a hint of blue and I really need a special fake tan to look natural.
Exfoliating twice a week should be enough and always wash your hands after applying or you will end up with orange nails.
