Hi, I came off the pill about 4 months ago and all of a sudden have started getting dark hair above my lip!! Has anybody else experienced this?

Well may be there is a problem with your hormones.Any major diseases off late.What's your age If you are still in your teens then wait for your teenage to go.Or else go for a hair removal cream.

I was on Dianette for years and years since my teens until a year ago (my doctor put me on it to sort out my spots and excess hair). Anyway, I came off it a year ago and as a result my face started getting back that downy hair on my upper lip, chin, cheeks and forehead. I also got horrendously bushy eyebrows. What i did find that helped enormously is getting it threaded, I get it done here http://www.thepowderlounge.co.uk, in Debenhams in Oxford Street at a place called The Powder Lounge which I find give me the best results, because the downy hair has become less and less and regrowth has been so much finer the more times I've had it done. I also get my eyebrows threaded and they look a helluva lot better and sleeker now.

hi i suffer from polysistic ovaries and was just woundering of maybe you do to it would explain the facial hair coming after coming off the pill.you will need to ask your dr for tests ok i really hope that helps xxxxxxxx
