Help with tummy exercises!

Just looking for some advice really on toning my stomach? I used to have quite a flat stomach before having my daughter but that obviously isn't the case now! I'm 5'11" a size 10 and weigh 9 1/2 stone. I guess as I'm tall my weight is spread over quite an area but I hate my stomach! I have to admit that I didn't do a great amount of exercise after my daughter was born which probably didn't help to get rid of it. I've been quite lucky in that I don't have tonnes of flabby skin from being pregnant but there's some there and I also seem to have weight there now after my pregnancy (nearly 3 years ago). Does anyone have any advise on toning up? My first thought was to do some sit ups but I heard that the muscle underneath can become toned and push the fat out even more? I eat a lot but healthily and find that if I lose weight it comes off other places (where I don't want to lose it) but not my tummy. It's almost like it's constantly that time of the month where you get that little pot belly!

You shouldn't worry that much.It is likely that a woman puts on weight after a delivery.All you got to do is jog for about half an hour,if possible swim (for that is the best exercise to burn fat) and a few light cardio exercises will help you to get back in shape.

Tummy

you sound just like me - what has helped is
- collegen cream (from QVC) every day
- abdo-belts/tonning belt for half an hour 2ice a week

Abdo excercise does not push out fat - you burn fat whilst tonning so do your excers.

Is it fat or skin - many women think that the excess skin is fat but is not. The cream and belt may help with the toning of skin. You also sound as though you are bloated. i have tried many things but has not helped. and note that We all suffer from a pot belly during that time of the month. dont get yourself down about it.

Thank you! Just been having a look at the exercises and have noted them all down to have a go! I can't keep moaning about my tummy and then not do anything about it.
