70s looks!!

I need some tips on how to get 70s looks, disco like.
I'm thinking about afro hairstyle but I don't know how to get it!! Any advice??
I also would like some tips for costumes... Its a competition at school and we have to make everything by ourselves... I would like some help on how to get the looks...

Hi Maggie, why not try backcombing? And anything with butterflies, rainbow colours, wedges, shoulderpads, flares...hope you win!!
