Highlights!!

hey,

can anyone help me i have medium coloured blonde hair and have my hair highlighted about every 3-4 months.
However, since being in the sun this summer it has turned very fair and left me with more noticable roots, i was considering buying a home highlighting kit to cover the roots what do you think???

plez help can't decide

Home highlighting

Hi there

Just to let all u girlies know about the wonderous "L'oreal Color experte" i buy it too highlight my hair at home! I must say that I have never had as many compliments on how great it looks, and so cheap (a tenner) and easy to do!
I had previously spent well over a hundred pounds every 6wks to get this done at the salon. But must recommend this fantastic product and it is saving me a fortune, plus boosting my confidence no end!! LOL!!

Try it, ...cos ur worth it! hahah!!

Winter dullness

Hi,

I wouldn't go for a home highlighting kit but would opt for a salon every time.

My problem going into winter is that my hair has lost a lot of the shine that it had in the summer and is now looking really dull and lifeless.

Anyone have any handy hints or advice?

Are you blonde or dark?

It's different in each colour

Highlights!

Hey there,

God - no I would never highlight my hair at home.....I think that is a recipe for disaster!

What about trying something less drastic first!?!

My hair is also medium blonde and highlighted (by a hairdresser) and he recommended I try some shampoo designed for blond hair that actually brings out the natural hightlights!

Why don't you try something less drastic like that first!

I think Sunsilk have some shampoo that is designed to enhance your natural blond colour. I haven't tried it yet - but that might be a good starting point!?!

I would never try a home highlighting kit. I burn the toast, so god know what I would do with my hair.

Yes!

careful with home highlighting... mine went orange and horrible and I had to have it sorted out professionally, so I may as well have gone straight to the hairdressers!

Hi

home kits can be reali bad they make ur hair go a colour u dnt want

Why not

The camomile shampoo could be a solution.

Watch out...

you've gotta be carefull using shampoo's that bring out natural blonde or enchance coloured blonde etc...a few of the popular ones actually change the colour of ur dyed hair
