Perspiration!

Hi,

I have found through a discussion board a site that provides underarm pads against perspiration.... Does anyone use those pads ?

I really want to know if it's a good solution.

Thanks

Sweating

hi all just to let you know i found that Driclor (not triclor as someone wrote) is very good. Like the other girl said you put it under ur arm pits at night (too much does cause itching) and then you dont even need to wear deodorant in the day. But make sure you wash it off in the morning as it can stain your clothes. You can get it in boots, about £6 - £7.

Don't bother!

pads are just messy - they don't stay put and are a dead give away under your clothes! if the medi-deos are no good for you then it's time to get saving for hyperhydrosis treatments - basically botox in your arm pit! you probably can't get it on the NHS but check with your gp anyway. my sister has hers done (she gets most things treated, she's supposed to be my older sister but everyone thinks its the other way round). she got teased for years, now no problem. she uses Dr Blum at botonics - just google botonics.

Perspiration

There is a deodrant that you can buy in Boots called Triclor which is excellent for combating perspiration. You put a small amount under your arms before you go to bed (too much can cause itchiness and is uncomfortable) then during the day you use your regular deodrant and it keeps you underarms competely dry...would highly recommend!

Have you tried ...

Hi,
I haven't heard of the item you mentioned, but have you tried a crystal deodorant? I use one, and it's fabulous, I wouldn't be without it.
Or of you have a serious problem with sweating, what about getting botox injections? I wouldn't personally do that, but I have read that it can be very effective in combating sweating.

Hi ya

i am also trying to find a good deo or product that can prevent it!!
i haven't heard of the pads, where do you get them from?
thanks xxxxxxxxx

Nhs options

There are some options available on the nhs and it may be worth discussing it with your GP. Botox for excessive sweating is available in some areas but the waiting list does tend to be long
