Beauty work experience

I was just wondering if anybody else out there has done any sort of work experience or interning with anything to do with beauty?
I've been interning a day a week at this beauty website called beautyheaven.com.au, its been so good for me.
I study at fashion college so ive been trying to get experience whenever i can, anywhere i can.
I have absoloutely loved it. the girls have been so good to me and i thouroughly recommend that anyone who has an interest in beauty should try to get ahead in their careers. especially if its somewhere as good as where i went.

Beauty therapy

I am currently looking at a new career direction and am very interested in possibly becoming a beauty therapist with the option then of working full or part-time in the future when qualified. I would welcome thoughts about the best way forward. In particular at 48 I may be a bit old for full time college study but maybe could get a job and study part time? All advice appreciated.

Beauty therapist

i did my courses with creative they are all over england they are the best for nail enhancement there is a site called nail geek were you can get the best advice they also do waxing spraytanning eylash extensions and makeup and more i did my training two years ago and was 41 its the best thing i ever did and now do very well mobil never to late to learn donna x

A possible answer?

I would say a tafe course would be best for you Fiona, or working at a day spa somewhere.
You often get little places that are willing to teach people the basics.
Ask around where you live socially and do night courses at Tafe to get the credentials you need.
