Help !! when i was ateen i developed bad eczema. after numerous creams, tests and tablets i seemed to grow out of it and havent had it forabout 3 years. Howver... i have just started getting it again on my face. i know that getting stressed does make it worse so i am trying not to think about it but i can help it. i dont want to put hydrocortizone on it as it can danage the pigment so when u tan it stays white( which was also a problem last time around) it took me abut 2/3 years for my skin to fully recove and get back to normal so i am scared at putting strong creams on if any one has anything else to suggest.
im using aqueous cream to wash my face in and am using e$% on the dry iotchy parts at the min appreciate any help"!!
thanks

Hi Jemsy37,
I am also a sufferer and recently came across this site: http://eucerin.dbmblogs.co.uk/
They are giving away some free samples and one of them is actually specifically for your face "Eucerin Dry Skin Relief Face Cream". Looks like if you request a sample on the free sample page, you get a few to try out. All they want us to do is come back after trying it and post a comment of what we thought. I've just requested mine, so hopefully should receive them any day....
Thanks, Suz

I have been lucky to not get it on my face but my legs really suffer- esp in winter. I will try these samples of Eucerin- I have seen the product in Boots before but you know what it's like at some point you feel like you've tried sooo many products you get a bit downhearted. Thanks for the advice on using the dbm site for free samples- great idea (and a bit of a money saver)
Good luck

I feel your pain, i have had a nightmare with eczema all my life and the only thing i could find that could help was the steroid cream that i really didnt like using because of the side effects.
I have recently been using natural products that have really helped me. I use Suki, an organic range created by a lady who suffered from eczema and wanted pure products that dont have the chemical skin irritants etc in it. Its a little pricey but they do go along way - i purchased a trial kit that lasted me about a month and it dramatically improved my skin, i would definitely recommended trying one.
I now use the white willow toner and velvet facial cream from the trial kit regularly and rather than using the suki cleanser i have switched over to Spiezia Organics Cleanser which has just completely cleared the end of my eczema on my face up. Im so pleased with the results.
For the eczema on my body i have switched over to use PurePotions Skin Salvation which is like a balm, although this hasn't cured all of my eczema on my body (i still get the odd patch) it has eliminated most of it and it really soothes the remaining so its not so much of a bother - i dont get any of my itchy attacks anymore if you know what i mean!
I get my stuff from here: www.thenaturalbeautyshop.com which only charge 2.50 for delivery.
I think im going to try changing my washing powder next to something more natural and maybe that might knock it on the head completely. really hope you find something to help
Carly x
