Hair coloring>..getting dyed brown hair back to natural blonde.

ok hi everyone..i have a problem
i am very inexpierienced in this whole hair dying world
i had never dyed my hair untill recently
i probably shouldnt have because i had light blonde naturally highlighted hair, that was like pretty, but i had it my whole life and wanted to mix it up
so i bought herbal essence color me vibrant and i dyed my hair a chocolate to medium brown color
i really like it
but i dont want to be stuck dying my hair for the rest of my life, and plus i liked it how it was, and when this brown starts growing out i want to just go back to my natural blonde. I was under the impressiion that i could just strip it and it would be back to how it was, but someone else told me that wasnt the case..
does anyone know what ill have to do to get back to my old hair>!...preferably a cheep way..? or will i be stuck stripping then dying it back blonde till my natural grows in? i dont want my last summer at home before college to be spent trying to fix thissss!!!!!

Removing hair color

Hi Deb.
This is something you don't want to try at home. You should go to a professional to remove the dark brown from your hair. If you try it yourself, you could end up damaging and stripping your hair to the point where it will look like straw and you'd have to cut it. The cheap way is not the way to go. The high price is worth it to get the job done.

I have dark brown hair that is dyed light golden brown. I put in a chestnut rinse that left my hair very, very red. Even though it was a rinse, it becamse a perm color over the dye. I stripped it and it damaged my hair so badly that I had to cut it and re-dye it back to light brown. My hair didn't feel the same afterwards until the damaged parts were cut out.
