"Victoria beckham's secrets?"

Hi all,

I heard a lot about Posh Spice's use of pu-erh tea for weight loss. Does anyone know how it gives her such great results and where to get the stuff?

Hi

I dont like pu erh that much but if you are looking for a place to buy them, check out :

www.herbalmed.co.uk

They stock many different type of teas made for slimming.

Pu erh, oolong, feiyan, piao yi, bojenmi are the one to look for. I tried them all and Im very happy with the results from bojenmi teas. Piao yi is another one to try.

"Where to buy pu-er tea cheaply"
Posted by sneezygirl 24 January  at  15:29

Pu-er tea is available from Waitrose. The Dragon Fly range offers 25 bags for £1.89 so don't waste your monety on expensive versions when you can get it at a reasonable price.

defo works for me! although it does smell like soil...

lol- I think it might have something to do with not eating enough too but to answer your question... I've been drinking puer tea for months now and it does work for weight loss (1 stone!) I also feel loads better to. I get mine on eBay. there's a really nice seller healthandprospera_tea that sells lots of different types and is really helpful with questions. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/HealthandProspera-Tea_W0Q-QssP ageNameZl2QQtZkm

"Great for detoxing"
Posted by handi11 29 November  at  10:48

Pu-erh tea is a chinese tea that can be used to aid weight loss - may have a mild laxitive effect. If you consider doing a internal detox this tea can be taken before bed during your detox.
You should be able to purchase it in any local chinese store or chinese health clinic (alternative medicine).

cheers,

By going to the Gym honey..
In Febuary i was 58kgs(9.1 stones)i've been going to the for 5 months and now i glad and proud to comfirm that am 48kgs(7.5 stones)
and i didn't go on a strict diet just stoped eating after 6pm
and it worked!!!
"Gyms?"
Posted by goldmember06 3 November  at  14:00

They are both time-consuming, enormously expensive and very, very boring with loud music and posey people!! There's no way I could join a gym when I work and travel three hours a day. So many people do in January, and by July the majority start to not go. I'm sure Linda Posh is an exception to the rule, and am so pleased she finds it so beneficial, but for many of us the thoughts are just grim!

Walking is free apart from decent pair of shoes, which two months gym subscription would cover, and then some cheap M&S tops and jogging bottoms at £21.50 a set. 45 minutes x three times a week has kept me slim with walking swift from the station to work, and when I can else where. I also lost 1.5 stones without any exercise at one point, due to a knee injury, going to Weight Watchers and still had my wine and pasta! Look what it did for Fergie!!

i've just started drinking it again two days ago and the last time i lost a pound a day for a week... you don't need to order it from the internet or pay a lot of money for it... all chinese shops have it i bought it in a chinese shop on georges street in dublin for 3 euro for a box of 25 tea bags

I've been drinking the Teaco brand of Pu Erh for 3 weeks now and have noticed a huge difference in a flatter stomach, bloating, digestion etc, but no weight loss! Are you just drinking one cup after meals or inbetween meals as well?

A flatter stomach, then you must be thinner!!
"Try birt& tang figuro and ginger teas. "
Posted by mitzy37 11 April  at  17:49

Hi

I have been drinking Birt&Tang' s Figuro and Ginger teas and they contain high levels of pu'er tea and the best thing is they taste amazing. The Figuro is a blend specifically designed for weight loss and it really works. I have been using it now for over 10 months and have lost over 1 stone. I really recommend that you give them a go. www.birtandtang.co.uk

Happy sipping

"Green tea tastes nicer! "

I have just recieved my order of pu-erh tea and to be honest it tastes like spinach! I have decided to persevere with it though as it tastes alright with a slice of lemon in it.
A good place in the UK with quick delivery is:
http://www.chineseherb.co.uk/index.php?main_page=a-dvanced_ search_result&search_in_descri ption=1&keywo-rd=pu+erh

I ordered mine sunday night (25/03) and I got it this morning! (27/03)
Its actually not bad price wise, i got the 6 week supply. No idea if its actually going to help but shall post back!

How is anyone else finding it?
"Chinese herb uk"
Posted by goldmember06 3 November  at  14:08

I think that's where I got mine from. The name of the make on mine is Xiamen Tea Imp & Exp Co Ltd - in a rusty brown coloured box. Whatever about one's stomach and teeth, it leaves your cup in the same colour!!

Hi Rita,

As far as im aware it was widely used in China to help with the digesting of 'fatty' foods and helps reduce your cholesterol level.

www.theteahouse.co.uk sell it online.

Hope that helps

A cup of hot skimmed milk with 1/2 a teaspoon of cinamonn is also supposed to lower cholesterol! Cutting out the fatty foods in the first place might help as well, but not if your body makes excess amount of cholesterol, which some do!!
"She is pretty but bitchy"
