Help!! ive ben using olive oil on my face n had a break out of spots ?

hi im 30 n heard abt olive oil n so i started using the extra virgin olive oil n hada break out oof spots around my mouth area is this normal ive being using olive oil soap bar as a wash fort my face n then apply this after as moisturiser is this normal ben doinit for abt 3 wks nw hope u can help !!
