hi girls. i need help (applying fake tan) xx

Hiya, im new on this site and i hope someone can help me. I have recently brought fake bake tri pack (tan, scrub and the spray). I do all the necesary things (i think)

1-Shower, Exfoliate and Shave
2- Apply moisturiser
3-Apply tan

The problem im having is when i apply ther tan it comes out in little dark dots on my legs, i dont know why this is happening, but ive tried doing it after having a shower and even when ive not been in shower and still get these tiny little dots on my legs. I dont really know how i can explain what i mean but where the hair grows its these that are the small dark dots.

Pleeeeese can someone give me some tips and also i exfoliate but still end up with dark patches on my knees. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??????

Tanning

the little dots on your legs are probably from the tan soaking into where the hairs grow from after you've shaved, i used to get this all the time, try shaving the day before you intend to tan this also stops the tan from irritating your skin.
Sorry if that didn't make much sense.

for your knees make sure they are well moisturized, i use st.tropez daily moisturiser the day before i'm going to tan and apply it liberally to my knees, elbows and ankles. this should help.

i do know what you mean .will give this a try, hopefully it'll work. Do you use st topez tanning creams, if so which product would you recommend? Although i have brought fake bake i might need to try something dif. I've seen so many dif products its hard to know which to get. I have very fair skin and want a nice looking tan. X
