Scar care serum??

Hi everyone,

I've recently just purchased Boots scar care serum as I've heard it's even better than BioOil. I purchased it because I've got a lot of acne scars on my face I would love to get rid of before I go on holiday in 3 months time. Although it doesn't say I can't put it on my face, and says it is suitable for 'blemishes' (which i'm assuming they mean on the face) I'm a bit worried about doing so! Has anybody tried this or a similar product on their face and had normal results? Or does anybody actually know how these things reduce the redness of scars? I dont want my face going a funny colour!
