Botox

Hi all,

Have just read 'Botox: the Pros and Cons' in Beauty and am intrigued... have quite bad frown lines which are starting to bother me. Had always thought Botox was for celebs who had more money than sense, but it is actually much cheaper than I thought it would be.

Has anyone had it, or does anyone know anybody who has?

thanks

Restylane - natural filler

Hi,

What is RESTYLANE?
A natural beauty lift with the body's own material. RESTYLANE is a crystal-clear, non-animal, biodegradable gel based on a natural substance, called hyaluronic acid. The gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The result is instantaneous and produces a long-lasting, natural enhancement, gentle and safe to your skin.

This is a procedure that your local (private) dental surgery may provide.

Botox

I have had botox 2 or 3 times a year since I was 22 (26 now) and it is great. I had frown lines between my brows whch kinda run in the female side of the family (we must be misresble ... !!) Its not all that expensive £220 a time.
I recommend it.

That's ridiculous!

that seems to stilly to me. People should wear their experiences on their faces with pride... although I probably won't be saying that when I'm older!

Botox

Oh they were really bad and after seeing how my mothers are I wanted to make sure I didn't get them that bad.
It's all I saw when I looked at photo's etc.

Early twenties!

I read an article about beauticians in NY who Botoxed a woman in her early twenties, because of a 'repeated movement she did with her face'! that is ridiculous! I can understand freshening up your face as you appraoch middle-age, but surely it can't be that bad that young.

Botox

It was bad enough for me to be wanting to have the treatment since I was about 17!!!!
I have a really good doctor who does it for me and I will keep on having it as long as it's needed!!!!

Hi glendale

My friend's Mum had it on forehead lines (I think she's in her early fifties, but looked quite good for her age) and it worked really well.
She was a bit nervous because she didn't want a frozen face, but has lost nothing of her natural expression and looks about ten years younger.
What's the youngest anyone has ever heard of it being done?!
