Fashion/trends

Is it possible to avoid fashion/trends? Don't get me wrong I do like fashion and do loosely follow it if I like the current trend. Only thing is everyone ends up looking the same!
I'd love to have my own indivdual style but it seems so hard to avoid trends! Also they change so often you end up buying loads of stuff you'll only wear once! I've got so many things I haven't got round to wearing yet and by the time I do they would have gone "out of fashion"!
Whats a girl to do??!!

I know how you feel take it from a girl who is not very popular in school!! but every1 has thier own individual style it could be your favorite brand e.g FCUK but its so hard to keep up with the new trend!! but as im trying to be popular i buy a magazine called 'what to wear' and its very useful!!!

Don't follow the crowd

It's nice to look good, but make sure you really think you look good if you get whay I mean, not just look like everyone else to be popular.
Stay true to yourself, you'll make friends as you grow, don't feel you need to be like everyone else.
take care

Tough one, hey?

I reckon just buy what you like and what suits you. I hate looking like everyone else, I think a more individual look makes you stand out.
But on the other hand, I'm not really one of those people that deliberately wears really whacky stuff to get noticed - can't bear people who wear things like rahrah skirts just because they're 'in', even though they make them look crap.

Whats with the hipsters

i totally agree with you. people should wear what suits them. i had a thing about hipsters when they were in, i refused to wear them with tight tops coz it looks terrible on larger girls like myself.it was surprising to me though how many girls that were rather large were doing exactly that. my god, its called a mirror!look in it before you step out!
