Bra help!!

I'm at my wits end, trying to find something to support, is attractive and comfortable. Bra bands give me the biggest problem. I've been told I need to get professionally fitted to get the right size. Anyone recommend a good shop for fittings? What's your favourite bra maker? Have you tried support camis and found them to be good?

Going without something isn't an option. What can I do?

Don't go to m&s!

I wouldn't recommend M&S at all. For years I was fitted by them, and wondered why my bras always cut into my shoulders, well, after the birth of my first child I happened to get measured by John Lewis instead, and I had apparently dropped from a 38 to a 34! Well, I put it down to pregnancy, but yesterday I went to get measured at M&S having recently stopped feeding my 2nd child, and was measured as a 38DD. This was rather bizarre as the bra I was wearing was a 32J, and was still fitting round the chest! I went for a second opinion at La Senza, and was told I was a 36E/F , which didn't fit either. In desperation I went to Fenwicks and finally found someone who knew what they were doing - and walked out with 3 beautifully fitting 32F Fantasie bras. I don't know how M&S can find another 6 inches round my rib cage! My advice would be to go to John Lewis, Fenwick, House of Fraser, or some other store that carries a range of specialist bras for larger busts.

Always get properly measured!

i also went to m&s to get measured about 18 months ago. they told me i was a 32G and i bought the bra. please note their sizes only go to a G cup. Recently i visited bravissimo believing that my size had changed. they spent almost half and hour fitting me and i came out with a sports bra (my intended purchase) in 32J and even that was slightly to small but is the biggest sports bra available. i have just now ordered myself 2 new bras in 32j and JJ. M&S coiuldn't have offered me anything larger that a G cup, so i feel they said i was G to ensure i made a purchase, otherwise i would have had to go home empty handed. i would recommend bravissimo to anyone, large chest or not. they have some lovely products - lingerie, swim wear, clothing and always a sale section. they are very proessfional and good at their job.

Go to marks & spencers

Hey,
If you have a M&S near you, I would highly reccommend getting measured/fitted. It`s free of charge and the ladies are really professional and discreet. You have your own fitting room and big mirror so you can see which bra`s fit you from all different angles.
I didn`t get measured/fitted for over 3 years and went up a whole cup size, I`m thankful that i did as i know you can damange your breasts but wearing illfitted bra`s.
I agree that brassivo are a good option for ladies that require bigger bra`s, you could also look up Jordan`s new range of bra`s that come in bigger sizes or simply search for shops using the google search engine.
If you live abroad/in the states try bloomingdales or a big department store were they`ll be ladies who know of/will provide bra fitting services.
Hope that helps,
