I'm a student, and at the moment I'm writing an essay on race in the fashion industry. It's quite obvious that this industry is dominated by whites, and that it's generally harder for black models to get jobs.I'd like to know what other girls feel about this issue (replies from black girls especially welcome). Have you thought about this before? Do you notice it when you read fashion magazines? If you're black, what does this mean to you? Who do you think is to blame for this discrimination; The designers, the agents or the public?

actually no, fashion of ethnicity is changing and now the most popular are brazillian girls, here's an article about that: http://www.jurgita.com/articles-id2207.html
it says what are the most popular models by ethnicity.
