Need new glasses

ok, after years of being known for funky frames i have fallen in love with a pair of rimless glasses which i swore i'd never wear as thought would look like librarian. anyone got an opinion?

I work in Specsavers, only been there 6 months but im yet to see any1 under the age of about 50 buy them.
I have seen a funky pair in another opticians tho with the thick sides and they were quite funky!
