| Thread started by: | "Size zero opinions please" Posted by mia1513 6 February at 21:02
Hi everyone
I am doing a project for university involving some anti size zero adverts and wanted some honest opinions for my research.
As a fashion lover, I understand the desire for thin girls to model clothes as the designers want their clothes to look as good as possible as with any other products.
I would like some honest opinions on what you think about the unhealth size zero models. Do you like to see clothes on these thinner girls? Is it all down to a fashion or craze? Do they really look good and what do they have that a healty size 8 or 10 for example has?
All opinions are greatly appreciated, thankyou very much x

i was looking at a fashion ad the other day, the model was clearly underweight, and looked awful. It made what she was modeling look terrible, there is no way i would have considered buying what she was wearing in any size!!! Do people in marketing not realize that people look for realistic options when shopping? It is totally wrong that anyone should promote the size zero look. It is totally unnatural. Rant over!!!!

Size 0 just isn't natural, there are few girls who are naturally that skinny and I think the lengths that some girls go through to get to size 0. I don't think it's healthy that really skinny celebrities are splashed all over magazines and the latest fad diet is published.
I have never really had an eating disorder but a few friends have and I understand the pressure that women are under to be the perfect size, or what they think is the perfect size. It is difficult I appreciate that and I have been struggeling with my weight and I find the more I obssess about it the more tempting it is to try the latest fad diet.
