Looking for saris in london

Hello!

I am French and I am planning to come in London in September. Since I have been watching the movie "Lagaan" I really want to buy a sari and maybe one for my little girl (age 2) and some clothes for my husband.

I would like to know where to find some shops in London where they sell real saris. Where can I find saris made out of organic fabric? How much would it cost?

I found some adress on the web but do not know if they're OK (whitechapel market, southall but seems to be far from London or brick lane).

Brick lane is your best bet

And Whitechapel and Southall because there's a big ethnic community in these areas. It's not too far on the tube and Brick Lane has greta curry hoises too! you'll find loads of prett things there. remember that London is much bigger than Paris, so it looks huge on the map!

I saw your answer in parenting too. Is Brick Lane far from the center? How long in bus? I'll be with my baby (2 years old) so I would like it too be easy to go there. How much would it cost (with the blouse+petticoat)?
