Tall girls

ok....how tall do you have to be to avoid wearing high heels?
im 5'11 and slim and i would LOVE to wear all these fabulous heels u see everywhere but im afraid of looking to tall and gangly! does anyone have any opinions on this?

Hey darl... don't be crazy!! I'm 6ft3 barefoot and I wear heels all the time! Trust me.. as Amazona says on her blog - the little people are still looking up at you .. heels or not! haha (Ok, so she doesn't actually use those words.... ) .. there's an article about why us tall chicks should wear heels - you should read it

whats wrong with me a little taller than others go for it. Maybe start off with a low heel of 1" and keep going up until you feel comfortable.

I'm also 5"11 and i love it.

I wear heels although the maximum i will wear is about 4" but thats for comfort reasons.

I say wear what your feet feel comfortable in.

As for looking gangly...thats more to do with confidence than anything!

You need a confidence boost lady!

Only one solution seems to work. You wear what You love to wear,
regardless of what others might think. You ought to feel great. That
said, it is irrelevant how tall You will be, it only matters how well You
feel in Your heels. Do You feel looking great? Then You are.

For me as a transgender woman it is a real challenge. Therefore I
needed to learn to understand, that happiness lies within allowing
myself to feel great. To wear whatever makes me feel looking great.

High heels that match one's body style will most likely be complimented.

I'm also 5'11 and I LOVE high heels. I do feel self concious at times, especially if I'm with a group of girls alot smaller. I always get men making remarks..."the height of her" and "how's the weather up there" but that's there problem not mine.
