Internships

hi everyone!!

if anyone knows of any fashion internships going in the uk in spring time or any contacts i could ring could you please let me know
i am a graphic design student but would love to have a career in fashion and an inernship would be a good way 2 get your foot in the door as you work closley with designers and other people in the fashion industry

Fashion interns

Hi Jamie,

You should try to source fashion designers that really take your eye, and contact them directly, telling them about your interest in an internship with them.
A lot of internships require you to have a background in fashion, for example sewing toiles and pattern cutting, however I did a few internships, and I don't have a fashion degree. You may find that your experience in graphics can bring something new to the table.
It's hard work, rewarding and great for experience, and you will meet like minded people like yourself.
