www.fashionways.com has some great videos from Fashion Week in LA this year. I know that a lot of English fashion comes from the U.S.....so it's worth checking out. I love the website and always get ideas for my own style from there.

Lots of forest greens, rich adrk purples, aqua blues and browns are very popular. Very baroque/military, lots of frills and accessories and tailored jackets. A girl can't have enough bangles and dangly earrings!!!
Wedge heels are very in as well as long leg boots. Top Shop is still a very popular high street store and mago and Zara are also up there too.
I go to a lot of sample sales too to get my fashions for less money. Gives me that extra edge and unique style.

I found you post in google while looking for something else, i thought i had to share, so go have a look at the site www.amplesample.co.uk im male and have bought clothes from this site, but they do have a very large selection of one off womens branded samples. The brands are (i think) franklin and marshall, sonnetti, chilli pepper and they are still growing. i cant really say how valuble the ladies clothes are, but i bought a scotch and soad cardigan/coat which i would guess should have been way over £100 for only £40. also they have a 10% discount thing at the moment as well. i hope this helps.

There are many in London but the biggest and best (by far) is in Kings Cross. Its called Designer Warehouse Sales, and its free to get on their mailing list www.designerwarehousesales.com
