I HAVE BEEN BUYING DRESSES FROM GORGEOUS COUTURE FOR YEARS NOW AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED, THE FABRIC IS GORGEOUS AND WASHES AND WASHES.
I WOULD RATHER PAY FOR THE REAL THING ANY DAY THAN FOR A CHEAP IMMITATION.........
SEE FOR YOURSELF AND ORDER A DRESS AND RETURN IT IF YOUR NOT HAPPY

hi, im about to buy a gorgeous couture dress, is it worth it as opposed to an ebay copy? p.s. your email sounds as if you work for them? just need an honest opinion as ive had 'bad' internet buys from so-called 'quality' manufacturers.

Don't bother with gorgeous couture
I bought a dress from Gorgeous Couture last year for an annual black tie dinner for this year.
I only tried it on to make sure it fitted then put it in the wardrobe until now.
I am totally disgusted at the POOR QUALITY of the dress having paid £160.00 is outrageous. The was not hem to stop the fabric from fraying so the dress will not last me years. The slit had no hem. The fabric is CHEAP!!!! and the lines of the dress do not match up.
Anyone who knows a good dress would be appalled at such an item. Granted the design is very sexy but it's only a COPY!!! a copy for £160.00 you have got to be JOKING.
NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. YOU CAN BUY BETTER QUALITY AND SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT ELSE WHERE!!!!

I had an engagement party coming up at the end of April. and i looked high and low for that perfect dress. I had been on the GC website and found what i thought was the perfect dress.
Before i placed my order i gave customer services a call to ask about sizing. It was recommended that i bought the dress in a standard size try it on at home and then return it if it was not right. The team was very helpful.
i received my dress a few days later, i tried the dress on but felt that it did not fit right. I decided to return the dress but opted to have it made in a bespoke design. I read the terms and conditions of returning garments carefully and followed them on point. I then returned the dress along with a note to how i wanted the dress to be adjusted.
I rang GC a few days later and was told that the dress had arrived and was the design team. So you can imagine my shock when i came home one evening to find the dress redelivered. I thought wow this is quick working, i opened the bag and the original dress had been sent back no changes made, there was also a note in the bag GC said that they would not return thre dress as it smelt of food.
I was disgusted i rang and emailed GC the next day, explaining that i had tried the dress on and then resealed the bag and had sent it back, i obviously would not of worn a dress that does not fit me!!!
GC then decided that i could send the dress back again (my expense) and they would make the adjustments. So i re did another note and sent it all back.
It has now been over three weeks and my party is tomorrow and i only received the dress yesterday, and what a suprise they had not made the correct adjustments. I have now given the dress to a trusted to tailor to do the amendments.
Their clothes may be nice but the service is off, once they have your money they could not care less about you as a customer. MY advice dont buy anything from them. Trust me!

What a load of rubbish!!!!!!!!!!
ive just recieved my dress today which was £100 its was gross it fitted poorly and the material was cheap n tacky if ur in 2 the hooker look then fine but it looked like it was from a market stall. i mean a £100 4 lycra now thats havin a laugh!!!!!

Gorgeous couture is the best!
How can you say that about Gorgeous Couture dresses? I buy lots of dresses from their website and they are amazing!!! The material has an element of stretch and that is why there is a small amount of lycra in the garment but the material is Italian jersey not lycra! I have several dresses and they get no end of comments that they are classy and sexy but also elegant. Not tacky at all! So many celebrities wear the label so there is no way they are bad quality and the stylist is brilliant too. I love the velvet hangers and when I ordered for Xmas I also got a gift box FREE!!! I love Gorgeous Couture!

Gorgeous couture - my worst online shopping experience!
The dresses may be lovely but their Customer Service is Absolutely Appalling. They did not deliver as promised on 3 occasions!! I was left without a dress for a company party, so I had to make a mad dash to the shops last minute! And when I cancelled the ordered because they did not deliver, it took them forever to refund my money. My advice: Steer clear - Shop elsewhere!!!

Gorgeous couture - my best online shopping experience!
Wow I really am amazed at that maybe they were having an off day as I am a regular customer of Gorgeous Couture and I am always blown away by their customer service. Just last week I ordered a dress from them (and it was made to measure too) on the Thursday afternoon and it was with me for Saturday morning and fit like a dream. They don't even charge any more for the service to have it made to your own measurements which you have to agree is just brilliant! The designs are always hot and I get endless comments and loads of attention when I wear them. I'm really sorry you had a bad experience but I would hate people to think that was normal as I only have great experiences with them! I couldn't recommend them enough to you all!! xx

Gorgeous couture 
Ive had a couple of dresses from them too. The sizes are quite generous though, I ordered a size 12 and had to take it to be altered but it looks amazing now. Theyre great if you want something different and I like that you can order any of the dresses in whatever colour you want. Considering you could pay the same price for a dress off the rack, I think that the prices are quite good and they're made to measure. I found customer services friendly and helpful too. I would recommend them! xx

Terrible customer service!!!
I agree that the customer service is APPALLING! i was let down 3 times for delivery for dresses for Xmas parties last year and yes they took an age to refund. On one occassion because they had not refunded they agreed i had a credit so i re-ordered a dress for a specific function, waited for it to arrive and on the day i needed it for they said they hadnt sent it after all as they had now refunded my original dress and so i was no longer in credit! no one thought to call and tell me to give me the opportunity to give my credit card details again - they just thought they would wait for me to call when i didnt get the delivery!
When you try to speak to someone to get an apology you get no where and they just say they have lots of happy customers so i must be making a FUSS!!! Pleeeeeeeeeeeease?? I am the Customer - how can i be the one making the fuss when they got it so wrong??

Gorgeous couture are the best!!!
Well I have just ordered their new Kate Dress (which is just like the dress that Kate Moss wore on that Rimmel advert - all backless and mini - fab!) It was with me the very next day when I ordered and when the size was a little on the large size I returned it and got my replacement just 2 days later which I thought was absolutely brilliant. They even took it up for me by just an inch as I wanted it REALLY mini and I wore it this weekend and have had SO MUCH ATTENTION it is amazing.
I simply love their clothes and have the best service ever from them. They are always so helpful. I don't think that the problems that you have encountered are normal as I always find them to be great. I couldn't recommend them high enough to be honest!
Their clothes rock and get you noticed!

Grogeous couture - bad!!
On reading other shoppers experiences it seems everyone has been fed the same rubbish excuses from Gorgeous Couture!
I would never shop with them again, because honestly after buying a replacement dress. The quality of their dresses seems poor for the price you pay! If raw unfinished poorly cut edges and lycra is your thing then maybe the dresses are for you.
They even had the cheek to send me a 15% discount - sales must be bad. Even with that I won't buy from them again!!! Steer clear!

Gorgeous couture - never had a problem
I am new to this board and noticed there was a thread on Gorgeous Couture here. I have bought from them a couple of times and also never had any problems. I had had so many comments from people whilst out in the Kate dress I bought from them asking me where I got it from. I would definatly buy again and would recommend to my friends.

Kate dress
I bought the kate dress and it cost me about 180 euros when the bank converted it from sterling to euros. Expensive it may have been but O.M.G!!!!!!!!!!! the compliments and pulling power of that dress........wow.........was totally worth every cent. The biggest 'weapon of mass seduction' ever invented.

I now get my dresses from a shop on ebay called 'celebrity copycat couture' where they copy celebrity styles and gorgeous coutures dresses at the fraction of the price and not the jaw dropping prices gorgeous couture charge. 
they use very similar fabric to gorgeous coutures italian jersey fabric, nice and slinky and the few dresses ive purchased have been made well. As for the price they charge you can buy 4 dresses from celebrity copycat couture for the price gorgeous couture charge just for ONE!!!!!!! They are always adding new styles and colours and the last time i looked they have added some gorgeous jumpsuits.
