24 hour pub opening

So here it is. I can't believe it's finally happened! The UK will certainly be a different place...

What does everyone think? Are the pubs and bars in your town all opening for longer? Is it a good idea or is it too much?

I think it's a ridiculous idea, you can't turn a drunken British lout into a sweet smelling, handbag carrying continental romantic by letting him drink more and longer! The British have a problem with drink, they binge more than any other nation with the possible exception of the Australians so restricting their drinking hours is the only way to help them!

I'd say the Irish are pretty good at binge-drinking too, what are their licensing laws like?

I think it's rubbish idea, British people don't seem to know how ot drink sensibly any more. It will cause chaos.
